So right now I'm doing sm runs for my shaman team getting 120k+ exp/h in sm, but I'm quickly approaching the point where my xp will start dropping quickly. I was wondering if anyone else had real success pally boosting post sm and if so where? I was thinking of stopping sm at 42 since at that point I would only really be getting good exp from cath and that's all of a 4 min clear for me now and I would spend the bulk of my time waiting for lockouts. After that idk if it's worth it to try zf or if that isn't aoe friendly where to go?

I tried ZF the other day with my pally levelling some druids, found it to be a real pain as the witch doctors and their healing totems make it very hard to round them up and AOE them down. First pull I gathered about 15 mobs (with 4 or 5 witchdoctors) and it took forever (well...more minutes than I care for) even with destoying the healing totems.

I'm just going to stay in SM until 45 then move to scholo or strat (probably scholo as I know it better) and just farm the first room (assuming it takes longer than 12 mins) so I can do 5 resets in the hour. You could do BRD but it's not for me as I've been there far too many times in the past and just can't bring myself to face it again! ;)

I have run my son's characters more times than i care to say through ZF.... avoid it like the plague.. the witch doctors SUCK.. if you only get a few .. no biggie.. but if you try a big pull.. you are toast..

I'd stay in SM till they're 45 and then move to Strat. Pop in the back-door and pull all trash while heading to the Scarlet side. Doable in 3 or 4 pulls. You could also head to the Baron but there's a couple of annoying mobs in there plus the MC'ing boss is obviously a pain. You could run out the alts and solo her (no MC) but that takes quite some time.

Scarlet bastion is doable but takes some more time since you have to do smaller pulls. Aggro range from the lowbies is also a problem.

The Undead trash from the backdoor to the Scarlet bastion is the most efficient imo.

I've been doing this myself lately. After 40, Uldaman will get you to 45, and then I've found slapping on a 2 hander and some ret gear will do decently in LBRS. I haven't actually specced ret though, and my only "ret" gear has been the 5 piece S1.

BRD, level 40 to 45. Just pull 12 minutes worth, then reset.

LBRS at 45. Just pull until the ogres, then reset.

I had pretty good luck pulling the dragonkin in st then resetting.... did it in 2 for a bit, but was kinda close a couple of times, so went to 3 pulls there

Don't forget Stratholme (back entrance part). I found this pretty good exp- and goldwise.

love strat, good gold (also the old dungeon set boe drops sell pretty nicely) and nice xp

Scholo is <3 for runecloth
