So i have a nice laptop, Toshiba Qosmio 16g ram and gtx 670m, and I want to hook my tv and second monitor up to it. The laptop comes with one Hdmi output so at the moment i have my TV connected. Its there such adapters that allow you to run 2 Hdmis out out of one out put to 2 monitors. Something like this perhaps? http://www.amazon.com/SANOXY%C2%AE-HDMI-Splitter-Amplifier-Display/dp/B0015YRMXI
ANywho if you guys have other suggestions or know of such hardware, please do tell.

Thanks

Ugh nevermind, my gpu can only handle 2 monitors and from what i can tell my laptop doesnt ave a pci express slot so hooking up an external card doesnt seem possible.

Either way, splitting the laptop's output is just going to mirror the displays hooked up to the one HDMI port. The GPU itself doesn't know to 'extend' the displays across another monitor/TV unless there was a second HDMI output on the laptop itself (I'm not even sure if HDMI can handle multiple unique signals at this time).

In the same vein, is there a switch to allow you to switch one HDMI monitor between two computers? How about an HDMI X-switch that would let me switch my two HDMI monitors between my two computers?
