Not one single harassment from players about my boxing in the 3 months that I have been playing. Simply freakin amazing!!!! All the other MMOs I played recently (RIFT, WOW, SWTOR) I got tells or whispers all the time about "you're a botter, reported". I have received tells from people asking about how to box and i always refer them to this site and and i'm always friendly with them. I always Mass Buff every one in the GUILD HALL (where everyone in game hangs out for buffs) just to be nice and being nice always pays off in the long run :)

After the SWG fiasco, i told my self that SOE would never get another nickel from me again. But after all the other harassment i have received from other games, i have come back to EQ1 to give it another try 3 months ago. I was impressed with what SOE has done with there games, and i love that boxers are accepted in SOE games.

Looks like SOE will continue to get my money, and I can't wait to see how EQNEXT turns out :)

Interesting. I boxed Rift, SWTor and EQ2 on numerous occasions and only had one incident in Rift.
I don't PVP though and generally leave an area if there are many people there.

I think EQNext will be full of fairly rabid players for a while. They don't generally like boxers or anything that messes with the purity of their game. They do get bored quick and leave which is nice though, then they go to another game and tell people how to play.

EQ and EQ2 have long been places where it's perfectly normal, almost expected, that people own multiple accounts and "multibox" with the old manual alt-tab method so they can run with a pocket healer or pocket buffer. It may not be as prevalent now that Mercs are in the game, but I never had a single person say a negative word to me at any point of my multiboxing in EQ2.
