We were getting in some arena games for the week when we went up against a 5xShaman team from Whisperwind. It was a fun time, won one and lost one.
If you lurk on these forums, I just wanted to say "Hi"!
Hey! I was so annoyed that I zapped your lock's pet with my 4x EM crit chain lightnings on the first go around, lol. My wife (who plays the resto shammy on my arena team(s)) was freaked out that we were up against another shammy multiboxer. We lost miserably that first match thanks to my supreme targeting skills and I just got lucky won the 2nd getting all 3 shammies with my EM-CL and getting one down with a followup Earth Shock. Great matches.
I'm definitely just starting to get into the groove in arenas playing 4 with my wife on her resto shaman. I've only had them at 70 for ~6 weeks now so have only the shields from arena points and Belt/Boots/Bracers from honor gear. Against equivalently geared teams we do really well, but there are so many teams that are in mostly S2/S3 gear at the 1400-1500 ratings that it's just tough to get one down quick off the bat to set the stage.
We have problems with 2 healer teams with a good rogue or warrior that goes for our healer (shammy) as she's easy to keep locked up making me have to heal a bit. It's been really fun figuring out what works and doesn't and should only get easier with the free gear in 2.4 and grabbing more S3 gear. Right now we're at ~50% win rate across the 2 teams I'm on (I have 8 70's outside my shammy team and my wife has 2 so we lose 3 games on 2 teams then finish the other 7 on each with the 5 shammies so all our characters get 300+ points a week.)
I was really surprised to see another boxer in arenas. I've run into another team that was 3-boxing locks with a pally healer and I forget what other class a couple weeks back, but accidentally left the arena without noting their names. I also finally got some "fanmail" finally. I spent most of Saturday afternoon running premade AV's on defense with a hunter and a pally and all 5 of my shammies. It was a blast as a team of 7 just shutting down all the horde offense sinc they never wised up and came at us with more than ~5-8 people at once. I had someone create a lvl 1 alt and whisper me that I was reported (as if this was the first time) as well as this:

I frankly think the /spit emote shouldn't be in game as I find it just annoying, but I can't say I know this guy or the person who used it on him.

I hear you about being undergeared and getting smoked in the 1400-1500 bracket. My team has been L70 for about 2 weeks now, so they are even less geared than yours. My main shaman had a little bit of a head start since he's been 70 for ages, but I haven't really played him much until I rolled the multibox setup.
I have also struggled with 2 Healer setups, with occasional success by burning down a resto druid, since they don't deal with burst all that well. This is only our second week to play in 5v5, though, so we're still learning. The first week was me+Warlock too, so that didn't go well at all (I think we went 2-13).
I ran with a Paladin healer for most of this week, with the exception of the last 3-4 games when we had that same Warlock in the group in place of one of my shammies. I was probably more suprised than you to see another multiboxer.
I definitely think we got lucky on the first game, and the second one was much better played. I was very reluctant to blow my EM+NS+CL combo on you in the second match because I didn't want to see all of them get eaten by grounding totems. However, all our shammies are squishy enough that they should die pretty quickly.
In any event, I'm sure we'll run across each other again. Happy pew-pew-ing!

Hey, yeah I remember the name! My guild has nicknamed me "The Raz Army" now and it's interesting as I'm getting more and more tells or people recognizing me in AVs. I do know of one other 5 shaman multiboxer on WW named Lotus, but that's it as far as I know for multiboxing on WW.

Incidentally, I played ages ago on WW with the Reservoir Dogcows. I have no idea if they're still around, but I have a L60 druid over there. :)

My perverted little mind totally read that title the wrong way. Ha ha ha.... :whistling:
Yep, the Dogcows are still around. They had a bit of a shake-up just Pre-TBC and a bunch of their raiders left to form a "raiding guild" stealing the guild bank in the process, but most of the usual suspects are still around. I was in the dogcows with a few RL friends for most of 2005 but moved on when they stopped raiding MC because of lack of numbers. Definitely a great group of people and they're doing quite well now pushing into SSC last I'd heard.

the gear thing should get some help in 2.4 since they are adding the dungeon pvp sets to vendors. they are some rather nice season .5 types that will be a good boost into the pvp gear since they have some good stats for being blues. and just requires honored with the various factions which i assume most of us would have by or soon after 70 lol. And I always do love to see people QQ about us, especially ont he oboards so grats on that one!

I ran into the Lotus shaman team from WW last night!
Someone in /BG channel was talking about WTF was with the shamans, and I heard a teammate say "we have a multiboxer and they have one, all shammies". I checked the alliance roster and found Lotus and his others, and then walked outside of my Galv defense and saw a huge totem farm. I sacrificed myself in order to get up close and /wave, but I'm not sure if he noticed or not.
It was a memorable BG, because I went straight to defend Galv and probably racked up 50 HKs in the first 5 minutes. A friendly priest and druid healed me while the whole alliance offense just threw themselves at my feet. After fending off their attack, I switched to Offense and promptly steamrolled up to their relief hut with a mob of /cheer-ing horde alongside me. Easy win!
