Ok so i boxed my clerics to 60 and i wanted some more variety so i got 5 more accounts and tried to box 5 on 2 pcs each... but my second pc overheated.. and crashed.. i think theres something wrong with it lol.

BUT then i thought.. well maybe if i try all on my better pc it will work.

It does. With all settings on low and using the low quality renderer.. and all windows at 1280x720 ( two screens at the top are full res while 8 slaves are half res at the bottom) it runs really well.

I could bump up the gfx a bunch and still works well. But j prefer simple and snappy gameplay.

Just wanted to let everyone know its possible.

What are your system specs like? Also, I am curious how it runs with your primary character on higher settings and everyone else low/low.

Im not at home and im tech-stupid.. but i have a newish i7 (maybe 3660? 3770?) And 16gigs ram.. nvidia 2gig gfx card.. not top of the line.. but its new late last year.

Its not as quick as playing 5... but its not hard at all to play. Im doing it mostly to level up faster.. then ill probably focus on my 5 again for things

You level up quicker running 10? What are you doing? IA's or what?

So far I'm just questing pretty casually and it's going pretty quick but I am an obsessive compulsive powerleveler, if someone puts me onto the fast ticket I'd appreciate it ;p

Yeah ia is my juice. I am leveling a bunch of teams though, so i usually use my exp pots and do the ia dailies on each team before my wife aggro.

How did you setup assist/follow etc for 10, the setup Mirai laid out for a per target system seems to cap out at 7 or 8 characters due to modifier limitations?

Well, I knew i could setup the macros in the game as Alge suggests in his isboxer forum post, but honestly I didnt want to go through all of that hassle.

Actually I just made one macro with 7 modifiers on them, and left the last 3 toons on my team out. If I have to control the last 3 toons, chances are the other 7 are dead, and it doesnt matter. I wont be PvPing with those toons, so really... I don't actually need more than one or two toons to be driveable, anyway.

If you want full control, you must fill your action bars with plenty of macros... but I don't want to do that. yuck. I am only 10 boxing to get my teams leveled faster, so I dont need ultra-control on them for that purpose.

I actually saw on the ISboxer forums that Lax added additional variable hotkeys for ftl follow/assist up to 10. Basically they are user definable but I am not entirely sure yet how to go about doing it ;p

Seems like Smedbox is using it, I think in the short term, just to get rolling I will do what you are doing.

I did a quick test run with all 10 logged on on my i5 2500k@4.9ghz.

All clients on low render and I was actually getting 40-50 FPS outside so it looks like mine will be playable, although I can see that that framerate might tank hard in more congested areas.

The instructions I linked above are using the changes Lax made to the Quick Setup Wizard shortly after making the posts you linked. Everything in ISBoxer is set up for you. All you need to do is the in-game part. The downside of this method is that it needs 20 macros and 20 action bar slots. The upside is you can drive from any character.

Update: It can be done with only 10 macros and using 10 action bar slots. See here (http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=4367&p=19487#p19487).

I replied in the Isboxer thread too. I do it with just 2 Follow macros and 2 Assist macros. That method supports up to 14 characters. With 3+3 macros, you could support up to 21 characters.

I got it working via the method Alge suggested. It works fine, but my i5 2500k doesn't have hyperthreading and my CPU bogs down too much. So I just moved the second group to my laptop and they are all on low render with the lead window @60fps in most non uber congested areas.

Yeah, that is how I would do it too. It requires knowledge of configuring ISBoxer beyond just running the QSW. The advantage of the method I outlined above is that all of the ISBoxer configuration is done for you by the QSW.
