View Full Version : Possible to play Rogue + Monk optimally

Hi guys,

So it's been a while since I'm MB (or played wow) and I'm back playing with a friend.

He's going to be playing a pally tank and mage.

I'll be playing the other 3 accounts. I'll most likely use a disc priest for healing because I find it easiest/most enjoyable.

I need help choosing the other 2 characters. the only 2 classes I don't have at max level is a monk and a rogue so I was considering going with a WW monk and rogue.

My question is, how hard will it be to box both those classes optimally. I definitely want to play a monk, so if rogue is too difficult does anyone have any advice on any other class that would work well with monk?

I have multiple sets of all the heirloom gear and weapons so any class is fine but i'd prefer another melee dps class

I have not tried to box either of those classes, so I can't honestly answer your question, but I can say that both of those classes rely on special resources (Chi & Combo Points) to perform optimally. As multiboxers, we're already behind the curve in DPS, and my guess would be that it would prove difficult to get optimal multiboxing DPS from both of those classes through macros in addition to running a healer.

But that's just my guess. ;)

Thanks for the reply MiRai,

Just wondering if there's anyway to setup a macro or isboxer to recast a spell every x secs or if I have to manually press it myself every x secs

For trash it's not too much of an issue because they generally die before the debuff wears off but for bosses sometimes debuffs need to be recast

ISBoxer can't do anything for you on its own, that is automation and would be a violation of WoW's rules.
