Sorry to ask kind of a procedural question here but I am curious.
When I was 5 boxing I was playing all 5 manually... So switch to each to handle mining / drag and drop into a container.
Doing missions with 5 I used video fx feeds and still handled targetting etc manually.
I just moved up to 10 accounts and I am not sure I can keep up manually with that many guys. I have never really done much mouse broadcasting, wondering if everybody is using it but me?
Are you using mouse broadcasting, and if so can you share your setup a bit?

I use mouse and keyboard broadcasting to target on all my ships at once with the overview. I know some people will broadcast targets in fleet, but its probably a personal preference.

I do a little of both. I run 5 accounts. Changing rocks to mine I do manually. I broadcast for targeting and warping.
I broadcast for targeting and warping.
Fleet Warp is much safer, in case you didn't know about that - there's always the chance of a broadcast "warp to" sending chars off to different destinations.

Yeah I know, but most of the time I am in a mining group with someone providing buffs. In that case I have to broadcast click space and warp to a POS, Jump, or Dock. Soon I will be in an Orca providing my own buffs so I can fleet warp. However, there will still be times I am in a group because they provide better buffs to mining. I am very happy I finally decided to try Eve. What a great game to explore and if you make enough isk no monthly fee. In a way I am glad Blizzard nerfed follow. I was on my way back when they stuck the knife in our backs.
If you can, have the booster at Wing Command or Fleet Command level with one of your guys as Squad Commander for just your guys, then fleet warp them.

All in due time. My hauler will be doing that once I get my Orca this week. After my miners are trained up I will also make one of them leadership V too. Takes awhile.

I mostly ran missions. That said, I had two "filter" groups set up. One for everything and one that just showed the warp gates, my group's ships and enemies. I would then sort the list by name. That way, I could usually just mouse-broadcast switching the filter during the fleet warp maneuver and when I popped into the mission, I could just broadcast-click-target all the ships I was interested in. It usually grouped everything together pretty well, or well enough that having one of 5 Ravens targeting the wrong ship wasn't a make or break proposition. The only real caveat was when I had super-long-range ships mixed in with some lower-skilled pilots. Had to augment them with range enhancements to make up for it or things would get interesting every so often.

Just ran my first mining op with all 10... definitely going to look into trying target broadcasting at this point. I can do 5 manually very comfortably while watching a netflix or something but I could feel the pain of inefficiency with 10.
Found out about a new feature they snuck in with the June patch which might make targetting much easier for us... http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18613#p18613

What I did when handling 10 in HS was have 2 miners go for each type of ore. Helped a little but rocks pop so quickly in HS it's not the most efficient

I basically am running 2 groups of 5... I orca and 4 hulks. Each will go to their own belt.
I find 5 to be a pretty good size for a belt.
Next step is to go out and scout of the ideal spots and bookmark them to cut down travel time... so for each system I mine in I will have 5 bookmarks which will give me full belt coverage. I can also note which crystals are needed for the bookmark so I can be sure to have them available.
We will see how it goes.

Whuh...Blizz nerfed follow? Guess I'd better head over to the WoW section to read up on it. Haven't played in a while. Sorry for off-topic.

TLDR: Blizzard removed follow from battlegrounds - hence why several of us now play EVE.
