Level 70 In 1 Day 2 Hours 31Mins!

Hello I have seen this on other threads from other forums but havent seen it here yet so would like to show you guys something. Now this guy got to level 70 in 1 Day 2 hours 35min From using a Strat.

1. One level 70 Paladin

2. One level 70 Mage

3. Running Instances at the lowest level you can enter then at.

4.!!!!! PEW PEW !! 70 mage AOE whole instance ! pally heal mage!

Ownage! As you can see here. It was not a solo Leveling but a power leveling. Very nice i say

OMG it's athene, THE BEST PALADIN IN TEH WORLD SCHWFF SCHWFF. That said, that is a pretty amazing feat of leveling. I can only imagine what it was like before they nerfed the AOE damage coeff. I know personally that when I aoe leveled my mage there's no way I could have done the pulls I used to with the way it is now. Still very cool image.

I heard that what they did was keep the alt logged out have a tank train the entire instance. Log in the alt and wreck everything with an aoe class then logout immediately. Supposedly done without maxing out rested. For instances where you can pull the entire place basically youre doing 1 level in < 1 min of logged in time.

Also an OT comment about your sig Meathead, isn't the E6850 a C2Duo, not a Quad? If it is the quad that you are referring to, 4.2GHz is a pretty insane OC for it, what sort of cooling setup are you running?

Notes, Getting to lvl 8 is the LEAST of this guys worries. You can very quickly gring to lvl 8 in what, an hour? There have been many pre-arranged leveling races from 1-10 to see who could do it the fastest. 1-10 has been done in less than an hour before.

I still can't figure out HOW he did it. At the end of his movie he hints at tap grinding. But in the screenshots hes got a mage and a pally. At first i thought of this idea, Pally and mage agro alot of stuff get it realitivly close to death, zones out and the druid/pally leveling up aoe's them down. It works, i tested it last night

My understanding of it was they camped the druid out at the instance entrance, paladin pulled entire zone back, druid logged in and joined group, mage aoe'd everything down, all left zone, druid logged, paladin/mage reset instance and repeated

Tip # 1. Do not waste time. It's all about time. From 1-70 in 1 day 19 hours its about time don't waste time.

Tip # 2. Never Die. If you die you have to corps run. If you have to corps run you waste time so don't die, I mean its easy mode people asking me how you leveling so fast "Don't die little bitches"

Tip # 3. You go where there are mobs. You don't take to road because if you take the road you will less likely find mobs no mobs no xp, no xp time wasted.

Tip # 4 You go threw the bush. No obstacles nothing to the bush.

Tip # 5 Don't waste your time looting mobs, you kille you kill and you kill

Tip # 6 You take it hard core from the ass.

*EDIT* He made a comment about "people in the level range" so perhaps if I have a lvl40 tag a red mob, then have my lvl46 kill it, I still get all the XP. Either way he found how to give full xp per kill to the leveler using higher level charaters to kill the mobs.

I'm thinking that no one ever noticed because when we powerlevel with a 70 we are usually killing mobs that are gray to the 70.

*edit* and yes that would work pre 60 but after 60 1k per kill isnt much when you need 600k to level at that point. The 60-70 portion is the most impressive imo, most people could take an hour to think about the pre 60 way to go fast its the post 60 im curious about.

This is a proven method of powerleveling called "slingshotting". If you have an alt at every increment of 10 (20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70) then you can slingshot an alt up through the levels by tagging. The problem with tagging a mob that orange to a lvl 70 is that the lowbie will never be able to actually tag it. You need to do damage to do that :)

Mobs are also spread out all over the place and cannot be trained too far. A lowbie won't have a mount until 40, so that makes running around inefficient.

The XP rate Biz was talking about is just unrealistic. You'd kill more max-XP red mobs in faster time by doing SM pulls with a prot pally at level 20. Outlands doesn't really make much sense until you've exhausted all the easy ways of "boosting" pre-40.

Yes, I was wrong . But at the end of the video he said he did it using "mob tagging" and having a different player kill the mob, giving the alt full xp, so he must have had a series of alts as you guys pointed out.

Yeah, gratz to him and all that, the fact is tho that this isn't anything new. Anyone remember the mage when BC came out? 60-70 in 28hours. Powerlvling has been around for a long time. And all praise to Joana, he lvld solo, which should be diffrently judged from being powerlvled.

I wonder if it would work in a raid dungeon, cause as long as the lowbie is not in a raid, and tags the mobs, he'll still get full xp when the other 39 people kill them.

Nevermind. If they fixed it, I guess it's back to regular boosting. You still get xp as fast as or faster than questing/grinding, with the added bonus of not getting ganked, or crowding at a particular spawn. And you can boost in outland in slavepens with a grp of 4 70s and a 55, and the 55 would get just as much xp as a 69 would, but 70s, especially geared out 70s should be able to tear through a lvl 62 instance like nobody's business.

After reading this i tried the 55 - 70 strategy in Sethekk Halls with a 61 rogue friend. He was getting 6k from normal mobs, 9k from bosses with rested XP. So that part of it still works.
