hey you all :)
after some months im returning with my 5 man team and a friend boxing too and where are the multiboxer guilds? anyone can suggest a (maybe pve) server ?
see you in game !
When i last played a months ago there was a core playing on Faeblight / Greybriar. The 5-10 boxers were on Seastone but i think they went back to WoW. (not 100% sure on that).
My guesstimate is that most are still on Faeblight.

Faeblight here, but it doesn't matter greatly. You can move for free. Wherever you end up, just type /join multibox@faeblight and we can all talk.

I hope the server transfer thing is not something they will remove or start charging for. I probably would have been happier in WoW could I been able to transfer, just had too many toons to want to pay that much.

I am running a Tank Cleric with 4 Chloro casters for heals/DPS. It's going alright however I am a tad too squishy when it comes to PvP (which is what I wanted to focus on later). PvE is a breeze but I haven't made it into any instances yet. Does anyone have any advice on macros? Such as spell rotations and movement? I'm pretty new to all of this but am having a blast! Maybe we should start a tips/tricks post? I foresee a lot of people trying out Multiboxing with Rift going F2P and (and it was apparently nerfed in WoW somehow?). Either way, any advice would be most welcome!!;)
Thanks!

A decent thing about rift, is that if there is an updated guide for the class in the forums guide section, you will usually find all the high-end progression specs/macros there. However, since we multi-box, you will have to adjust it to fit your play style.

Here's a copy of a post I made in another thread that may help:
One nice thing about Rift is that there are only four classes, but each of them have huge flexibility through a respec. From what I've found:
Clerics can play anything - ranged DPS, melee DPS, heals, tank, or support
Rogues can play ranged DPS, melee DPS, tank, or support
Warriors can play ranged (sort of) DPS, melee DPS, tank, or support
Mages can play ranged DPS, melee DPS, heals, or support
Still, I typically like to have as much flexibility possible and enjoy mixed groups, so I made my team consist of two clerics, two mages, and a rogue. I've only played with a cleric tank, cleric healer, and the others as ranged DPS so far, but I have tons of options in the future, like healing on a mage, having a melee DPS mage, tanking with the rogue, and having two ranged DPS clerics.
Looks like it will keep the game fresh for quite a while.
One other note for those starting up - I'm playing one of my mages as a Pyromancer and the other as a Gravelord with my rogue as a Huntsman. In the perhaps ten minutes I've spent on each toon's set up, the Pyromancer seems like the easiest class to macro for high DPS.
Just throwing that out there in the hopes that it might help someone new.

I think there are some bugs with the chat system. It's messed up in Conquest too. Apparently, cross-server chat should even work after the shards were split into two separate clusters, but I don't think other cross-server features will work between clusters (e.g. teleport to another cluster) and Warfronts & Conquest are separate. So players in cluster 1 and 2 should be able to chat but not play with each other.
Basically, try again later.
North American Server Cluster #1:
Deepwood
Greybriar
Faeblight (Roleplay)
Seastone (PvP)
Hailol (NEW)
North American Server Cluster #2:
Laethys (Oceanic)
Shatterbone
Threesprings
Wolfsbane
Necropolis (PvP!) (NEW)

Those on Faeblight, are you playing defiant or guardians?

Guardians, but it doesn't really matter. You can cross group and cross raid easily.

Just remember when you start up on the "mature" RP-server Faeblight. Take good care of the people there. I guess it's slightly more mature and helpful than other shards. But just slightly. Be courteous with other people. Make us boxers look good. :) We're the ones driving by in a Lamborghini and belong to a secret society that they understand very little of. If you notice anyone struggling, ask them if they'd like some help from you.
And then. We form our own premade raids for Conquest and kill them all. Now that my 10-char team is starting to take shape, and Nitro's 8-man team, we can probably have some serious fun in Conquest soon. :)
