Hi :)

I still got some questions about the Setup for a 5-box group in WoW.

My favorite setup would be

Pala, 4x Mage or Pala, 4x Warlock

Someone knows if this can work for the PVE content?

Can a Void or a Felguard tank a boss in a heroic instance
or do I need a Priest to heal the Paladin-Tank?

Hi,

there is no chance that a Felguard or voidy can tank a boss in heroics. Even with a paladin you need a own healer for them, because he has no time to head itself (and will be oom within 1 minute) ;)

I would suggest to have a Prot Pala or Warrier (or Feral Druide, which keeps much better Agro and gets much better suite in normal/heroic instances than a pala/warrior), than one Priest for healing (group healing), two mages and one warlock, because of some abilities of a warlock. Than you have two cc with mages and one cc from warlock if you have demons in the groups :)

sounds like lots of practice to get this done.

tanking with the paladin while healing with the priest while spamming dots while casting pyros and shadowbolts while keeping up the CC.

I thought I could use mages only and spam pyros so I don't need that many keys for different Damagedealers with different abilitys and spells.

hmm.. anyone knows where I can get a third hand from?

nah not that many buttons, u just bind for examlple on key "1":

for mage: cast frostbolt

for warlock: castsequence for a few dots

something like that :)

Yes, like unit187 said, bind one key to cast mages firebold, warlock shadowbold. Another key to set dots, which you can combine with shadowword: pain from the priest :) one for healing your mt and one for shielding your mt ...

I allways to this with setting focus to the leader of the group (= Tank) and just use

/a [target=focus] or /t [target=focu]
/cast ...
