Neverwinter Nights online is in open beta. I watched a live demo of the game a month or so ago on Twitch.tv and got an early key. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get past Perfect World's registration system to ever log into Neverwinter. The livestream was impressive enough.
Here are some live streams and recordings to check out.

Very fun. Playing it with my brother. I can see it's kind of shallow in terms of content, but they said they would make regular releases. Haven't even had a hankering to play WoW.

Do you know what their financial model will be? All I can find is that it is free and there are no subscription charges.

Basically free with people who will pay for Zen. Zen is exchanged for items or you can buy AD thru an exchange. AD is obtainable via quests and used for many things in NW. Hard to explain, but people who want everything now can pay to get that, but its going to cost them. Its not Pay2win, more like Pay2getahead since everyone can get it eventually

The main ingame currency is Astral Diamonds (AD). Zen is the cash shop currency and can be bought with real word money (obviously) and can be exchanged for Astral Diamonds, based on a the economy's exchange rate. With Zen you can purchase XP boosters, extra storage space and bags, life scrolls, mounts, companions, etc. The real carrot, though, are the keys that open the purple chests you find, that can only be purchased with Zen.

There is the potential for endless content. The Foundry looks like player made dungeons and quests. I ran one last night at level six. It took about twenty minutes to read all the dialogue and it was pretty decent. The secret of Blackstone or something like that. It was much harder than equal level content and I walked out with more loot than I had seen all together up to that point.
Game mechanics strategy discussion for multiboxing Neverwinter has begun over on the ISBoxer.com forums. I haven't had a good chance to play the game yet since I fixed bugs in Inner Space just this morning while the Neverwinter servers were down.
Anyway, apparently /follow, /target and /assist exist in this game, so it just might be plausible.

About 5 hours and only at 24% downloaded.
I'll probably never play that game, don't have the patience for this and will give up soon.

Mine downloaded in less than an hour.
Its kind of addicting so far, but I'm neck deep into EQ2 and still loving it. I will give this game a shot though..soonish!

weird... I thought with their targeting reticule that it would be really unboxable.

Ya, it'll be pretty tough to multibox, but I'm interested to see what you guys come up with. The game starts out being really easy in the early levels, but in later levels the challenge level really ramps up.

Wow.. trying to make an account seems like an ordeal lol..no matter what names i come up with..random letters and numbers.. and typing teh exact email in both fields.. i get knocked back out with "that username already exists" and "email fields do not match"
Luckily i had an account from when they first opened beta apps
Is this a known bug/issue ( the account creation thing )?

They have had server crashes today, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were related to that. I've never heard of the account creation problem before.

The controls are a bit funny to get used to. Everything is hotkey unless you press alt and unlock the mouse, but when the mouse is unlocked you can't do anything. The events that change every 30-60 minutes is kinda interesting. You can spend a lot of time chasing after the bonuses they offer. I'm not sure what good gold is for yet. I haven't seen it worth anything to anyone yet. Everything is Diamonds or Zen bucks. Even the Auction House runs on Diamonds. The epic treasure boxes are a bit annoying. Currently you can't destroy them and they cost $1.25 to open each and they seem to drop like candy. I have about 15 of them and I only got to level 12. You can buy them from the diamond vendor for 200 so I honestly don't know why they drop so much or are so expensive to open. They should be like 10 cents to open.
Current diamond to zen is 500d for each zen. One zen is basically 1 cent. 62,500 diamonds for one box unlock key.... I look forward to when I can destroy them instead of taking up bag/bank slots. And there is a 24,000 diamond refine cap per day limit unless you can get them
I like the foundry. You can basically just queue one up and warp right to it. The dungeon finder is pretty nice as well. I haven't tried the pvp, but pvp isn't my thing. It's a lot more action and reaction oriented than just figuring out macros. Even early on you are dealing with basic raid style mechanics that you didn't see in WoW until Lich King era. Using your stamina points to roll/port out of the way and switch to your ranged attack after you dodged, then warping back in when the aoe's are gone. If you use your abilities you can slice and dice your way through fights without taking more than a hit or two, or you can just stand there like a derp and chug potions and die in the fire.

I too am on Mindflayer. I have not really given it much attention yet though.

Here is a good video to explain their financial model and the game's economy:
http://youtu.be/xFtwmn-brvY
In this video I give you guys an in depth guide to Neverwinter Online's payment model and microtransaction system. Although the game is 100% free to play there are a lot of things you can pay for and some of them can give you a big advantage (in PvP mainly). The aim of this video is to give you guys a clear description of what can actually be paid for and how big of a deal this is.

Neverwinter has left open beta and in full release with no wipe. The Foundry is really cool giving potentially unlimited content. Several Multi-Box teams have gotten to 60 but it is extremely hard to clear 5mans as a Multi-Boxer. A few of us in the ISBoxer forums are working to try to document workable teams & strategies for the end-game content. I came over to see if there were any other teams listed and or cap Epic instances cleared. Most current info I can find is in the Forum: http://isboxer.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=45
