Worlock viable for PvE-Boxing?

Hello,

i want to start a new PvE-Team.
I think i will use a pala tank and a pala or disc as healer.

I want to add 3 range DD.I like the warlock playstyle. So i consider to add 3 warlocks to my team.
Is warlock viable at the moment or is it too complicated to box them? Wich spec is box-friendly? Destruction?
Has anyone successfully boxed a team with affliction-warlocks?

What do you think about my team? Will i get problems in heroics?

Love locks, my first character was a lock, I've independently raided on mine at several points over the years. Never had more than one at max level, though.


My aff lock was good for PVE bosses (at 90) with the following macro

/stopmacro [channeling]
/castsequence reset=15/target Agony,Corruption,Unstable Affliction,Haunt,Malefic Grasp,Malefic Grasp,Unstable Affliction,Corruption,Agony,Haunt, Malefic Grasp,Fel Flame,Malefic Grasp, Malefic Grasp, Life Tap

Reforge for mostly haste, if you have enough haste you can risk adding another malefic grasp but probably not worth the risk of dots falling off.

That was several months ago, so use at your own risk. I would say that her single target dps was great, but her aoe was terrible. Which isn't a problem in heroics, just an inconvenience and a tedium.

I used it LFR all the time, the only time I was having problems hanging on haunt was on the last boss of MV when I was soloboxing and switching between the two big guys trying to keep full dots on both. Once again this is two months ago.

One of my first teams was a protpala+3afflitionlocks+1shadowpriest. They were the 'plague brigade'. When they reached 70 I splitted them and put them in different teams. They respecced destro and everything changed. Decent DPS, they've never had when Afflition specced.

By my experience, I found Destro Locks much better to multibox then afflition on PVE content. Most of the time you need burst and quick direct damage, dots don't help you too much when you run a dungeon with your tank on aoe mode. Right? ;)
