I am leveling my priest using the shadow talent in my new 3 boxing setup. I was wondering should I respect the priest talent to holy talent.

But with healing spec I can't level up this priest in solo mode.

What are your priest talent in your boxing setup? Please discuss.

What are the other 2 classes in your 3 boxing setup? If you have mages or locks, and you are using ~3sec cast Fireballs and Shadowbolts, I think its best to go for a Holy/Disc DPS build. That way all of the characters have the same cast time on their spells.

What's the class makeup of your group?

My priest is holy/disc spec'd if that helps.
Makeup is pally/3xmages/priest.
For trash fights, my priest is normally 95-100% mana (unless I'm spamming holy nova); but helps on bosses that I can dump heal after heal without problems.

Why are you concerned about how well the priest will level solo if you are multiboxing?

Just because we multi-box doesn't mean we fuse our characters togetehr and they can't be played solo. I for one play from multiple locations, and only one location can support 5 boxing. Sometimes the collection quests I skip while multi-boxing I come back and solo if I have free time at the office. It's a legitimate question that he has about his priest.

I went holy/disc but found soloing to be somewhat of a nightmare when it was my priests turn to do some questing. I tried a Disc/holy build with emphasis on holy dmg, and found that somewhat bareable, however I missed out on some healing goodies. For one particularly long solo questing day, I just respec'd to shadow and when I got back home to my 5boxing rig I switched back to holy.

Tbh though, you might just wanna stay shadow if you're in the low level range. You can heal just fine in instances. If you find it hard to keep your team up as shadow, switch to a discipline / holy build. I wouldn't go pure Holy/disc until I was in my late 60's.

Why are you concerned about how well the priest will level solo if you are multiboxing?I do solo all my multi-box chars from times to times. I have different folder to do multiboxing and each folder for doing solo on that chars.

But I think I might build a few computer to do solo on each account as at times the mod have been screw up even those the account was play on different folder.

Thanks to all to give me some valuable information on the priest talent. Now I have rough idea on what talent I will change to.

I specced for Holy Nova when I was running with mages. It's not mana efficient but if you are aoe grinding with mages they are going to need to drink anyway. I just bound Holy Nova to the same key as Arcane Explosion and put a macro like this "/cast ,Holy Nova" so it would go off every second time I did an Arcane Explosion. Kept everybody alive and I tore through levels while leveling.

Both!
Probably doesn't help but I'm duo-leveling a disc/holy and a shadow priest as my first jump into multi-boxing. I actually got a few shadow talents for both so they could both mind flay. I find in an Oh CRAP! kind of situation, the disc/holy priest can survive better and live to rez the poor dead SP. Of course I'm not high enough yet to get the damage reduction of shadowform, so that may change.

If you priest well geared with good healing you sould have 800 plus normal damage at 70 and can solo and pvp with that I love to mind control a mob and have others kill it or have it kill others , great fun in pvp
