Took advantage of the free 1 week return to wow blizz was offering to have some fun on my Dk's. Its a blast sofar, when I can stay logged in...

It seems that when I start spamming my dps keys atleast one of my WoW's will crash. If im just hanging out or running around though I don't have any problems.

I've tried disabling most of my addons but it didnt seem to help. I also tried un checking optimize network.

has anyone experienced or found a solution for this?

Slow your spamming speed?

I tried adding blank steps into my Isboxer dps macros to do that but my toons still seem to get disconnected :/.

lol i think consciously not hitting my dps key in fear of getting disconnected would take some of the fun out of it.

A better solution would be the "do not advance to the next step and only trigger once" options. I assume you are spamming by hand but if you are auto-spamming with ahk or a programmable keyboard or something, upping your delay to half a second might help.

Are you running oFollow at the same time?

It has occured while running oFollow. And it has also occured while not running oFollow.

I will try changing the do not advance to next step options.

I had this happen when my addons were out of date. Make sure that you either update or disable them.

Main culprit was Recount and DBM

I don't think the culprit is addons, im running only jamba and the isboxer addon. isboxer is out of date and i cant get it to update. But i know people who use keyclone and it happens to them too.

I just ran a few bgs without ofollow. (i did eots and just sat at BE), and i still keep dcing. No idea whats going on. I have all my dps keys to only fire once ever .5 seconds also, so idt im over inputing keys into the game.

:/ anyone else have any ideas?

Yes it might be Jamba, check the FPS in each of your windows and see if one or more is very low. Another user was having trouble after updating Jamba that some settings on some toons didn't update correctly had had low FPS. He just had to push the settings from one of the working windows.

edit:
I found the post here:
http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/48975-Jamba-Item-Use-bug

Not sure if its at all related to your problem but you might try disabling the item-use module.

I had a similar problem, constant disconnects when engaging in battle. Mostly on the slaves but on few occasions my main would DC. I had around 500ms latency, but it spiked upwards over 2500ms, sometimes even much higher on the slaves. Turned out my (onboard) NIC was broken, so I had to replace the mobo.

Also, you running the latest version of Jamba? Check the advanced options, there is a setting that throttles communications, try turning it on.

To test jamba i just ran a WSG without jamba on and i couldnt stay logged in for crap :/.

Was running only isboxer addon that time.

my ping normally sits at about 50ms home and 70-100 ms world so idt its a connection issues, unless its spikeing drastically when i engage in combat

Ron, I had that problem when I tried one BG with oFollow. I think it tanks the game as three of my enhancement shaman DCed. I later did some /IWT to my stag with glyph and had no issue in the next 2-3-4 BGs. So I am doing melee boxing with my druid as a target for /IWT. Problem is I have alot of issues/almost impossible to get into buildings efficiently. However, I did post a suggestion to Blizzard this morning and opened a ticket due to being in a BG with 12 bots on my team. If I had some /follow I would have cleared out the other team with my older elemental version shaman but my melee guys suck butt. And of course I was only solo-boxing at the time so that didn't help.

Sooo, the bot you paid for crashes the game and the solution that has been well known for weeks is actually superior? I think this fits Alanis Morissette's definition of irony.

Uhh... used it once and was replying to Ron. Keep it civil or move one. Read the rest of my post to see that I am doing the exact same thing you do by using Mechano Chopper/Druid Travel+stag glyph. Irony doesn't equate to being a dick to the community. Cheers.

My post was more directed at Ron. Your comment about keeping it civil and then calling me a dick would make Alanis proud.

true it was a moment of weakness. My apologies, suffering from a headache this morning and I shouldn't have taken it there. Owltoid, again apologies.

No hard feelings. I'll take slightly insulting banter over a dead/boring forum any day! Wish there were more posts per day.

Anyone else smell that nasty disgusting un productive stench in the room?... Kind of smells like... troll? ohwell.

Yah tank,

Idk if its oFollow or what, because i had some Dc's without it, but certainly more with it :/.

I am starting to suspect that oFollow + IWT is the Culprit. I played an entire AV, about 20 minutes, on my hunters and was able to stay logged in the entire time will smashing keys as fast as i could to try and provoke a disconnect. BUT, when I was on my DK's i could barely engage a target without disconnecting. (obviously my hunter's dont use IWT). If your so inclined tank would you want to try and use your shamans as elemental just to also test the theory? Try to avoid using IWT also as an experiment.

There was some interesting discussion in vent that possibly the game was targeting and disconnecting characters that were tighly grouped together and fireing the same keybind / spells at the same time, or that the game might be doing that and also takeing IWT into consideration.

Better than continuing to discuss a botting program.

Ron I will give it a go this weekend as I don't have time to box during the week. I normally only have time to do 1-2 solo BGs in the morning and then I have to cart 1 of the 4 kids to band, soccer, etc... kids are entirely too busy in activities during the week. Good news is daughter has a Winter Guard regional competition this week with the wife down south so they will be gone for two days. But I do have the first soccer game this weekend.

My basic plan is to continue to probably use IWT to Stag and just limit myself to EOTS, AB, AV and IOC. But focus on the two 40 mans until I am geared. I have already picked up 1-3 season 13 items on each toon and most of my toons have several crafted items. I did manage to knock out one scenario to get some 450 weapons on two shaman and the restodruid and I might need to do more scenarios to convert points over to honor for weapons and what not.

Thanks tanker.

Let me know how it works out.

Just ran two IOC's about 20 mins each.

only one disconnect on one toon, but my Latency was at 600ms... i think someone is watching netflix -_-.

I changed my dps spam keys so that there is a .2 delay between steps, and the IWT keybind is sent on its own step with nothing else in it but the G key (my IWT). I also changed my dps keys so that no more than 2 toons would do the same ability at the same time. Ie:

Step 1: 7 -> 1 & 2, 3 -> 3 & 4
Step 2: G - > all
Step 3: 3 -> 1 & 2, 7 -> 3 & 4

It definitely made my guys attack slower, and were a little less effective but they stayed logged in at least :D.

I also changed it so that "break follow" wasnt sent on the dps key down anymore, and i had to manually break follow using a seperate keybind. Maybe this "break follow" spam was contributing to the overflow of keys.
