Any healer should be fine in PVE. Paladin is just a little easier. Disc has more tools and may require a little more attention but I think it has better AOE heals.

Disc healer is mostly fire and forget, with atonement plus a bubble/POM on the tank.

If you're doing battlegrounds or arena, a Paladin is far less squishy.

You have Divine Shield, Aura Mastery/Concentration Aura, and your 'Big Button' with all other cooldowns.
Your healer is wearing Plate and carrying a Shield, for the highest melee mitigation too.

I've found the Paladin puts out very impressive throughput onto one target at a time... so no matter who they focus on, it is easy to set that toon as your focus and have massive heals directed that way.
The AoE healing is not nearly as good as other classes.

The paladin has some awesome heal capabilities. Hand of sacrifice one, beacon another, heal a third and potentially BOP the 4th to reduce damage party wide... takes some proficiency but they also put damage absorbion bubbles on their heal target for free. Sure they are mostly single target healers but with some good mouse over macros they can and are awesome. My main is a HPally that I pretty much only RBG on and most of the time even when stuck being a tank healer I am close to the top healer in raw numbers (dang you Restodruids!!!).

Finally, the benefit of paladin is they are as fast as your DKs. Get them there fast as opposed to slowing down for Resto Shammy/Priest.

For PvE go with a paladin, hands down.

Why would you say this? Priests can get you through most 5 man stuff using an automatic rotation of focus heals + smart healing with atonement, while doing 10k+ dps... I'm not sure why anyone would choose a paladin healer this xpac.

This!
I tried Disc and 4xDKs in Cata. And it was squishy as hell. Often my priest died within the first 5 seconds.

Thanks for the input guys. I am gonna try disc. But i am also leveling a pally team so if disc dont cut it then i will bring in the holy cow. Also wondering if i should go all blood since i am only gonna do pve.

He said PVE ONLY in large caps.
