Dear All

Being only an average player I have been messing about for quite some time unsuccessfully trying to raise the dps of my balance druids.

My average Ilevel is between 420-440. My team against the mists raider finder targety dummy are averaging around 13500 dps. In instances this is dropping to an embarassing 11500.

I use a three step approach but would appreciate any feedback, very likely I have not interpreted the best advised sequences properly.

STEP 1 - Balance dots

/castsequence faerie fire, moonfire, sunfire

STEP 2 - Balance sequence

/startattack
/castsequence Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wr ath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Starfire,Starfire,Starfire,S tarfire,Starfire,Starfire,Starfire,Starfire,Starfi re, Starfire,Sunfire,Starfire,Starfire

STEP 3 - Balance Procs

/startattack
/castsequence Starsurge
/cast [noform] Moonkin Form
/use 13
/use 14

Any feedback would really be appreciated.

I don't have any moonkins right now but I'd try this:

Step 1:

/cast [noform] Moonkin Form
/castsequence reset=target sunfire, moonfire, null

This will get dots up on most targets and you won't need to reapply dots the way you did it is going to spam overwrite your dots a lot of the time

Step 2:

/castsequence reset=target starsurge, starsurge, starsurge, sunfire, moonfire

put this second because starsurge is more important than your filler spells. I believe that you have the chance to proc them, so this sequence should last you 15-18 seconds. If thats wrong (on average) add or remove surges, basically you just want this to occasionally reapply your dots for long fights without overwriting them and wasting cooldowns.

step 3:

/castsequence Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath,Wr ath,Wrath,Wrath,Wrath, Starfire,Starfire,Starfire,Starfire,Starfire,Starf ire,Starfire,Starfire,Starfire,Starfire,Sunfire,St arfire,Starfire
/use 13
/use 14

Please test and let me know how much this raises your dps.

I took out the start attacks because you don't want any moonkins to start meleeing the boss!
