...the test server! http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Buckingham

Ever wanted to test out that weird fit or that expensive ship or try something with friends that you wouldn't normally fly? The test server is the place to do it! I played with 2 corpmates who between us had about 10 toons on the server, and we had a fine old time running triple Oracles, Oracles with guardian support, Cynabals/Cerberus setups, BS/Guardian setups, Dread vs Dread fights, whatever we felt like running. There were around 50 people on the server who were mostly all in this one nullsec testing system, and we fought a lot of BS's, got sniped down by tracking dreads, fought against tournament reward ships I had never even heard of, and generally had a fun time. A great place to test out anything multiboxing related too (we were actually practicing our coordination/communication and guardian use playing multiple toons for pvp). Here's the skinny if you're interested:

Must have active accounts to access the test server.
No podding allowed anywhere!
PVP is consensual everywhere except the one system everyone goes to.
To get to that system, join the channel "moveme" and say "moveme".
All items cost only 100isk (yes, you can buy a cap ship for 100isk).
No fighting at the station or on gates, but there are beacons for pvp areas you'll see in your overview.
The test servers are snapshots from a few months back, so anything you've trained recently won't show up as something you can fly (and no, you cant skill train for free to test out stuff you couldn't normally fly...wish you could).
If you are isk strapped go buy a big ship that you can fly and undock and fly out somewhere and either let it die or self destruct it and you'll get the basic insurance payout for it.
