5 box Level 87 Druid, Priest, 3 Mages - Dungeons

I am still pretty new to multiboxing. I did it for a few months in Cataclysm and just this past week decided to pickup MoP. Haven't played since start of cataclysm, so feel like total newb (not just in multiboxing). Watching my own videos I feel slightly embarrassed at how bad I do some things :D

Recorded some of my dungeon adventures. Complete with my awkward commentary. I had fun doing it and watching them afterwards has helped me identify some things I do wrong and right.

I'll continue to add more as I progress. Currently massively brick walled by Sha of Violence. Recorded 12 attempts of me dying within 2min, I feel like it's not impossible but it's really hard with my current gear/level. I have right around 400 ilvl on all my guys.

If you map a strafe key to your dps/healer you can have them stack then strafe out of the poison / fire. I just keep everyone on follow during the last phase of lilu and keep moving when the get poison.

Also check out the formation key maps in is boxer. I think there is a star and line formation in the quick setup wizard. That will keep you from having to position each one individually.

Thanks for the tips. Positioning is a pretty weak point for me right now. Will work on that tonight

Something else you can consider is moving the entire team with the arrow keys. As an example, when running heroics on my paladins (1prot/4ret) there was an elemental boss in Gundrak that dropped puddles of goo under everyone's feet every few seconds. Basically impossible to sit still and be able to heal through in heroic mode without grossly outgearing the place. What I did was line everyone up as perfectly as possible, then stacked everyone up on top of each other. Arrow keys were set to forward/back/strafeleft/straferight. I would run up to the head of the little hallway, pull him and slowly back everyone up in a little group. He'd shift to his other form and I'd run him back down to the other end and wait until he switched to elemental again, then start backing up down the hallway again. This kept me moving out of the junk and everyone was stacked so we were all in melee range. Because I wasn't turning, everyone was pretty well lined up and stayed together pretty good.

Pretty much only one or two fights where I used that but the principle was applicable to various encounters even if temporarily.

Same levels and gear as the video. The videos were my second time there. The first time I cleared Jade was directly before recording it.

Awesome! Did you level up first, or you get Liu at 85?

Curious if you ended up getting sha, removing that magic and having enough healer mana seem to be the main points of my strat. I reforged all my gear last night to up my regen, hoping that helps out my mana issues a bit

I finally killed Liu at 85, but it took me a while. First started doing Jade a couple times up until Liu then reset. I just killed her once though, might be a fluke :].

Couldn't quite get Sha down though. I tried putting my guys in the corner, like you said, but after the first wave of shades Sha was standing inside the pillar, and I couldn't get him out.

So I opted to just park my guys at the door, stack them on top of each other, and then use my Avenger's Shield to gather the shades. At first I had trouble decursing, basically just ignored the curse, but it's a huge mana drain, so after reconfiguring Grid I now decurse like i should.

Anyway, long story short, I got the fight under control pretty well now, but just like you, I have majaor mana problems. My best effort got him down to 27% before my healer ran out. Haven't taken the time to configure mana tide totem yet though.

For my team at 85, and with low dps, lightning bolt from resto shaman is the winning formula.

I did this the other day on my second team. Here are some screen shots, i don't have enough horsepower on my laptop to record but you can see the team ilevel, dps, and position (They are all level 87). Just spread out and blow all cool downs, having a smite priest helps out too.
