Silver Elite farming

Ran out of game time on 4 accounts, all renew same time.... since my CC is maxed, actually its over it's limit.. (Thanks Kids + Xmas lol) Have to wait until tomorrow when I get paid to fix the game times, so in mean time, my main account, that is active, I decided yesterday to kill some time, farming silver elites, in Townlong steppes.

ALL those elites have chances to drop Big Bag of Herbs, Gems, Enchant mats, Food, Leather, Etc.

I scored Big Bag of Linen, useless really, cloth, bandages.
Big Bag of Herbs, that was interesting inside, had, 17 golden lotus, yes 17. 5 stacks of snow lily, 2 stacks of green tea leaf, 1 stack of fool's cap

Big Bag of Jewels, had, 58 Kyparite, 9 Lapis Lazuli (green quality) 15 White Trillium Ore, , 5 Imperial Amenthyst (Blue Quality) 20 Black Trillium Ore and 3 Vermilion Onyx (Blue Quality)

Big Bag of Food, had 20 Great Pandaren Banquet, 20 Pandaren Banquet and 5 Banana Infused Rum.


Good fun, camping these beauties, inbetween queuing for heroics, and cleaning house :P

Oh and I also got the Big Bag of Arms, had 2 epics, 1 BOP and 1 BOE

Oh and killed Scritch and got the Hozen Pipe again :) Currently have 3 hrs left on cd before I can use the new one lol

wow, sounds great, how often do they spawn and do you find it worth your time?
i didn't know the pipe had a CD

The pipe has a 7 day cd now, has had for a while, which kinda sucks lol. Was great when it didnt, have the 7day cd.

Umm around 1.30 hrs or so they respawn.
I got the bag of food again, just now, as I am now idling waiting on them to respawn, due soon.

It is worth my time, because at the moment my boxing accounts are out of game time, until tomorrow, and I am cleaning house inbetween, doing stuff with kids, heroic dungeoning inbetween, etc, I have a routine, I kill all the spawns, or close too, most times, and then go afk, with sound up, while I do real life things and linger back at pc, when I think they might be up.

All good fun, inbetween other activities/real life stuff. :)

And its even better when a bag of goodies drop lol

So you can have more than one and they have separate timers?

I think the Hozen Pipe is consumed on use, so once you use it, it disappears. The cooldown is that you can only use one every 7 days.

Ahh ok.. well i knew i had killed him before..I was looking for the pipe..no wonder i could not find it lol!

You can have as many as you want in your bags, only difference is, you can only use it once per 7 days and yes its consumed when you use one. And timer remains on the pipe, if you acquire another one, until 7 day timer is up.

End up with 50 golden lotus, from 3 separate bags that dropped, big bag of herbs. wasnt bad.

What is these silver elites your talking about? Rarespawns?
It seems to be good to farm these guys, but i can't realy figure out what you guys are talking about :D

MOP Silver Elites, rare spawns, that have timers between 1-2 hrs max.

Various loot, all ones in townlong steppes have chances to drop large bags of goodies
