Since raid level caps were removed when they made instance groups, would it be fast to boost characters up through raid trash/bosses?

i was thinking of killing ICC 10/25 trash to boost my raf toons up from 1-80 or something along those lines since i wouldn't need to move my group and could just kill mobs on my 90?

what other raids have large groups of trash?

At 57th to 59th, Molten Core is about 1% per kill with RAF.
That is four lower toons, in the level range.
With a level 85 booster.

When I ran the content as an actual raid.
With 1x 85 (me) and 3x 88 (friend), plus my four RAF accounts (at 59th)... the experience was around 10% for the entire clear.
So, one higher level takes a chunk but multiple higher levels take a lot more.

At 90th, you shouldn't have a lot of issues with lower level raid trash.
There is an experience cap... once a mob exceeds a characters level by more than (I think 5 levels) you only get the experience for a mob at the threshold level.
So there might not be much advantage in doing an 85 raid, instead of an 80 raid.
Mob density and ease of kills, plus safe places for the alts and their ability to enter the zone will be more deciding factors.

its still classsed as a raid. even though its not its some kinda new cool tech that makes it think your in a raid when you not so xp will be still raid wide.

Shouldn't that be the best xp/mob that level can achieve making the only difference the kill speed of the mobs?
ill have to test out the difference between mc to 60ish then moving to Kara or ICC.

i did think of the mount hyjal trash but some of the trash have 4 mil hp and the dogs pick you up and eat you(you can't attack) which might make it difficult.

so xp will be still raid wide.
 please say this is how that is meant to be read

does anyone know if there is an XP differnce between 10/25 man raids?

ok i have misunderstood what i read elsewhere
Its only lvl 80 characters that can get into higher level raids(see to the 80 pally that has killed 1st boss of Mogu'shan Vaults)

You need to kill a mob on the outside that is like 10 levels over the lowbies level while in group form, then kill a mob while inside in raid form which is also 10 levels over the lowbies level and see if you hit the cap both times.

You ususally get a lot less exp while in raid form but if you still hit the cap it dosnt matter.
