Basically, you can have five characters in a group (I'm assuming you mean World of Warcraft).

So, if you want to ten box, you'll essentially five box twice.
Either together, or one after the other.
If you're questing, you can go either route.
If you're boosting in instances, then doing one RAF completely and then the second RAF is a better idea.

If you have an existing character, transfer the best booster from your accounts to the 'A' account in the chain.
Also include some gold for bags and basic mounts.
If you're brand new, that works too... obviously no transfer of a starting character.

I'd recommend doing your RAF on a 'Boxing Server'.
In the US:
- Alliance, Kil'jaeden, <Legion of Boom>
- Horde, Magtheridon, <The Zerg> <The Protoss> <The Terran>
In the EU:
- Alliance, Outland, <Autobots Roll Out>
- Horde, Grim'Batol <GIMP>
Playing with other boxers is amazing; they know where you're coming from and what your needs are.
In general, you'll likely find people who can give some level of support for most boxing software options.

I would do the double RAF chain:
A > B > C
A > D > E

Create or log into account A, on www.worldofwarcraft.com
Send your own email address an RAF link, twice.
Use the emailed code to create an account.

Log into each of the two accounts you have just created, also on the main warcraft web page.
From each of those, send yourself one additional RAF invite.

That gets you the double chain.

If you have a booster, boost from A.
Which means, group all five toons and power-level with the toon on A.

If you don't have a booster, level five toons together and make sure the first set is either Druids or Paladins, as either will make an excellent booster for your remaining characters.
Aside from leveling a character the first time, you'll be boosting thereafter.
If you didn't have an initial booster, it is an idea to take your first set to at least 85th (even though RAF stops at 80th)... because an 85+ makes an excellent booster for level 80 or lower content.

You have three months with RAF bonuses.
So level a lot of characters, to give you options.

Because of the double chains, A is going to receive granted levels from both chains.
Meaning, if A boosts characters on BCDE... those characters will grant levels to A, and without actually leveling a character of that class (whatever you boost)... A will be granted enough levels to have a level 80 of the class.

So if your first set is 5x Druids (because you're brand new).
And your second set is 4x Monks (because you decide Monks might be fun)...
A will receive 39 levels twice (once from B and once from D), so if you made a toon on A and got them to 2nd level (2+39=41+39=80) you can grant levels and have a level 80 Monk on A, after boosting 4x Monks on BCDE with A.
Same for each composition you boost.
Plus you get a level 80, from the first set you level (without the booster) extra.

Your RAF chain is two links deep.
So four or eight characters is ideal, from a granting levels point of view.
I'd just do an even number of characters if possible.
The reason four (or eight) is ideal is...
BCDE are boosted four times.
A > B > C ... & ... A > D > E
C gives two characters to B, and B gives two characters to A.
Then B gives one more character to A, because they just received two characters from C.
So the granted levels cascaded, into a full toon.
Naturally the ADE chain does the same.
