In Better News Today. 25 vs 40 boxer

So last night in light of Invis being suspended we decided to skip AV and terrorize local towns instead. Upon blowing up Halfhill for about 20 mins guess who comes barreling out of the sky upon us. Prepared of course. Unfortunetly neither of us were filming and he wasn't streaming but we ended up mercing him in the town. Then afterwards we mounted up and flew just south of the town in the middle of nowhere and waited for him to spawn. After spawning he immediately mounted up and took off into the sky to regen and whatnot. About 10 mins later he flies over to us and give me the /ready emote. So we land on the group buff up and just wait. Now this was at 3 in the morning so no alliance or horde were around to help either us or him out and we weren't in a town so now guards either. Anyways we buff up and he lands on top of us and starts attacking. We blows all cds and merc him, again. Next we mount up and fly, then he rezzes, waits about 10 minutes, and then gives us the /ready emote again. so once again we land and he lands on us and attacks. We blow our Cds and same result, hes merced and we only lose 1 shaman.

So if that doesn't prove to him that he needs to change a few things up or just stop blabbering about how he always owns us idk what will. All I know is we were pretty ecstatic afterwords lol.:cool:

I have to say that was probably the most exciting fights we have had playing this game. and not to mention how awesome it was owning him 3 times in a row with him starting the fights fair and square, no guards, no allys / hordies to help, just flat out Multibox vs Multibox action. Phasing is still there when all cd's are blown but that will be inevitable no matter where we fight i think.

I always let the enemy get to full health and buffed. Its just more fun that way - even though they often don't offer me the same courtesy.

*UPDATE
WHile questing on my guys some tells Prepared so he comes over and ganks me and then while Invis was attacking the horde base in Karasang Wilds prepared goes over and wipes him too, so I switched toons and we teamed up. We headed to Karasang Wilds and decided to sit on the horde side in their tower for a bit. Guess who shows up? Keep in mind the scoreboard is 3-0. So he shows up and attacks us. We kill him. Then he rezzes and trys killing us while we rez ourselves, We kill him again. Then he does the same again, and dies. Finally he rezzes and mounts up and flies above us. SO we sit and wait. He then comes down and lands outside the tower and trys killing Invis' main with his pets, so we run out and kill him. He then rezzes while were rezzing our 2 or 3 down and we kill him again. So this happens about 7 times and he finally gives up and flies above the water. We then mount up and fly by his team. We count down and dismount above the water and pop all of our dots on his main who dies and plummets to the ocean. Then we mount up again and kill his second main and he then decides to retreat and falls back and hides in this bases with the horde boss, like a true winner :)

Again sry about no video but my setup cant handle it at the moment. Invis got some screen shots but his power is out atm so theyll be up soon. We may get video soon if Invis can config his laptop to box 1 toon and film from that.

we have a new vending machine out in Karasong Wilds lol. Its called the Domination Point Vendor AKA Prepared hahaha. Got 3000 Domination points in about 20 minutes haha

its just ineffcient overdamage playing with more then 7-8 DDs. Since Prepared arent able to focus 5-6 Targets at the same time he will always lose to multiboxers which put out an effecient burst.
Or he have to do massive burst AOE.

He'll have to keep spamming arcane explosion and holy nova.

If he has priests and mages .... and that would only be effective to 15 or so yards, not so wise.

Actually you can DD at a 1.5 second rate if your DD is instant, so in 15 seconds you can DD 10 oppenents, assuming they are doing nothing lol ...

Dont forget he is about 40-50 percent in RATED BG's (10 man) so he is not doing poorly at all.

Clearly his master plan is to have enough max level of different classes to be able to counter whatever oppenent he faces.

I dont see any team of his being able to counter nearly 30 stacks of diseases. He doesnt use direct focus heals, only aoe so i just dont see unless he kills you fast enough and is able to sit and eat, how he would be able to keep up with that kind of degen. Killing him is as simple as mage pet root, solar beam, remorseless winter, and aoe spam.

Prepared has to deal with two different kinds of opponents.

I'd imagine most of his setup is geared against the first.
That being any number of random solo players.

But the setup that has worked well in assorted AV/IoC/World Stuff...
That is evidently not working out too well, at least from his perspective, against multiple boxers in 'boxing vs boxing' battles.

Prepared win-trades rated battlegrounds with himself to get gear. Did you honestly think he has won 40-50% Rate battleground against real teams?

If you watch one of his videos where he kills Balinda in Alterac Valley, you can measure how long it takes him to kill her and extrapolate his DPS. We found that his entire 40-man team was doing a mere 300k DPS. My 10-box team can easily do 600k on a bad day.

I played rated bg last night.

What a disaster, I went 2-7 and the two I won were cause the oppenents were not there....

What you say must be true, I thought he actually won 40 percent but given I could not even get ONE KILL in 9 games and lost so badly it was a joke.

I cant understand this, I cant instakill anyone with NINE mages? I was doing very well in AV by comparison.

I will try some more, I mean I know boxers will die easy to comparable live oppenents but not even one kill.....

Wins trades to get gear ..... it dosnt even occur to me that someone would play like that.

Well, The difference is that rated bgs aren't droves of window-lickers and bots. They're going to use their defensive cooldowns appropriately and chain cc you to the graveyard.

Rated BGs are basically Arena level play.
They're not casual, like a normal BG.

Assume everything is optimal, or as optimal as they can make it.
Most likely 'fun' specs that aren't the best choice, won't be seen often.

You're comparing two extremes - AV, the most uncoordinated, lowest gear, easiest BG in WoW, to arena type coordination with full gear, rated BGs. AV is a joke, I barely consider it PvP.

Roll shamans, then you'll at least get one kill :)

I finally killed one guy today lol ... then they camped me at the GY ....


Well I killed one more and won a few more cause no oppenents (I guess maybe people drop if they hate the map or something but I got six free wins and 15 horrible losses) enough to get everyone the conquest trinket. That was my goal so its back to leveling....

Most likely seeing that he is a 5 boxer he is grinding random bg's. its 100 a win once a day and then 50 every win after that. Painstaking but it is, what it is

Random BGs - a ton of them. This is the weekend to do them with IoC and AV.

It's easier for me since I choose to only PvP with 4 (five take too many spots in my opinion). Since I have five accounts, I queue as a group with all 5 (random BG), check out which one popped with the odd man out. If I don't like that random BG, then I leave the queue with my shaman, /afk with the scout, log into another 90 and repeat.

When I had crappy gear I'd only play in the 40 mans, which worked pretty well, but it was a lot of grinding as the win % isn't 100.

Now that I have OK gear (fully upgraded honor gear, crappy weapons), I have enough power to hold my own in 10 and 15 mans so I can do any random. Often I'll search for a healer to queue with, or look at who is playing in the random BG and ask them to heal my team. If they do, then it's often a win. Once I get my PvP weapons (next week) I expect to melt faces and nearly always win.

The thing that I find entertaining is the way he plays his characters. If he used a more viable comp, and utilized the class features of the toons he played (as opposed to what he currently does [a.k.a. spam arcane nova]), he wouldn't have to keep stacking more characters on in an attempt to come out on top.

I don't get the point of using such a variety of classes... three to six of each, it looks like...
When you're essentially spamming arcane explosion or the equivalent.

With the spam one quick, instant cast type aoe... all mages, or maybe some healers in there, might be better.

Better still, would be using specials for the classes you have.
Along with a bit of variety in the spells.
Play to the strengths of the classes.
