Thank you

As in £45 per 2 accounts? Just seems alot when people have ridiculous amounts of characters!

Cost is relative....

I've never understood this. When people argue to me that it is "too much money" I point out that multiboxing for a a month costs about the same as an evening with dinner and drinks with friends and it lasts all month. I did horse shows as a kid. Now that is an expensive hobby.

In North America, 5 accounts is aprox. $2.50 a day subscription fee. A cup of coffee costs more where I live. Buy the 4 other copies of the game when it goes on sale. I do believe they have a Christmas sale on right now.

In the long run, its cheap entertainment for me.

I recently started 5 boxing and i feel like the investment has been worth it so far. I'm having quite a bit more fun playing than i used to. I already had 2 accounts, so what i did was went to Walmart, bought 3 battle chests, 3 cataclyms, and 3 MoP, and 3 Game Time Cards. I brought them home, got onto BNET and created 3 starter accounts linked like so

A (Booster) B---recruits--->C---recruits--->D---recruits---E

This allows you to boost with A, and then B,C,D, and E are all linked in a chain. So, B cannot grant levels, C grants to B, D, grants to C, and E grants to D. When i got 4 level 80's (takes about 10 hours for me to get 4 80's) you can boost 1 free 80 who will end up on account B.

I spent probably... 75 dollars xferring toons to different accounts to get the class mix i wanted, but that is purely my deal you may never have to do that. The good news is, for each RAF account linked you get a free month of gameplay for that account, and the games you bought get a free month. So you save a little in sub fee's initially.

As for the program, there is a wealth of information out there. I never posted on the forums until today, i mostly just lurked and read other posts. I use ISboxer, i havent tried any others, but i will tell you ISboxer is very good. For me the learning curve was a bit high, i'm not very smart though. In fact, i'm still learning how to use it better and better, but i tell you now the setup i have now vs the setup i had when i began is like looking at a cellphone from the 90's compared to a smartphone today. It's loads better, it just takes time to get it right. Goodluck! Hope i helped out some.

You can get trial accounts for free.
I believe they go up to 20th level.
Probably have a bunch of restrictions on them, but that's fine... it is a test to see if your system can handle five accounts and if you enjoy the experience.

Pretty much all of the boxing software is either free or has a trial period.
So again, you can decide if you like it or not, without a lot of investment.

I would recommend two RAF chains, if you decide to box.
A is the parent/existing account.
A sends an RAF invite to your own email (from within Account Management, on Account A); do this twice.
Each of those accounts will use the cd-key emailed to create the account.
And then from their account management page, send an RAF invite to yourself again.
Getting you two chains:
A > B > C
A > D > E

Use a high level on "A" to boost BCDE.

Do a lot of combinations, during your RAF time.
Decide what you like and play that... but have several choices, level a lot of combos during your 3 months of RAF.

Someone was following me around in the new dailies area the other day and goes "OMG, can I have money like you??!?" I just laughed and said it's cheaper than smoking cigarettes. An extra $60 a month for 4 more accounts is pocket change compared to doing anything else around here.
