If I earn a cloud serpent through rep quests do all my alts also have to earn that rep before they can use the mount? If so that really undermines the point of account wide mounts :(

Cloud Serpents all require Cloud Serpent riding to use, so yes you need that faction on all your alts who want to use it. I'd disagree that it undermines account-wide mounts. It's like, what, half a dozen mounts that require cloud serpent riding? And you can turn around and sell the duplicate reward cloud serpent for something like 750g on your alts since you already have it.

Meanwhile having things like the RAF mounts, Reins of Onyxia, Headless Horsemen's Mount, Ashes of Alar or the multi-person vendor mounts etc on every toon I make from now to eternity is well worth a not being able to use handful of cloud serpents until I do a few weeks of dailies {even less if you go pick up Grand Commendation of the Order of the Cloud Serpent (http://www.wowhead.com/item=93229)}.

And with the double rep bonus you get like 3-4k rep a day, it's a very quick faction to lvl up.

So what happens when next expansion they release more mounts that require the faction to use on alts? Yep pretty much undermined the point of account-wide. You can disagree all you want but that's the definition of account-wide. I hate faction grinds for mounts and I only want to do them once. Blizzard needs to make up their mind. You act like you can't have both the serpent mounts and all the others that exist.

Guess what? It's possible, but Blizzard would rather have you grind out the same shit on your alts. What the hell is the point of account wide faction achieves either? I want to get on and PvP and/or PvE, not pick up flowersx120 for 150 points of lousy rep.
