Should I use it or no?

Today I logged into an alt and the unopened (or opened and unused) mail containing the celebration package was still there.

I looted and used it and I still get the 8% exp and rep buff. I also traded it to an alt and it let me, so everyone in my party can get the buff.

So while boosting should I use the 8% buff? Or best I just delete it since it looks like a bug?

Usually when you pull an item out of the mailbox after it's supposed expiration date, it disappears after you logout.

Oh balls, I took some out too and didn't use them till I could actually use them for their full duration. Guess they gone now. Thats ok I have other toons with them I think.
