WoW and backing up files

I didn't do it :(

Now I am missing my launcher.exe and repair.exe. Facking blizzard they were there before I started the update. I found a really old backup on a usb harddrive, but I can't use any of the shortcuts until they are updated. It was from 4.0. Poop. :(

I believe the repair.exe file went away with MoP (or whenever Blizzard overhauled the Launcher fairly recent). I've tried manually placing the repair.exe file in my WoW folder but it continues to disappear, so I gave up. As far as I know, the launcher is supposed to handle the repair of your files.

As for why your Launcher is missing is beyond me...
