Pally mount speed.

Now that crusader aura is built into pallies but not shared with the group I'm having issues with the slaves falling behind and dropping follow. Is there a way to compensate for this speed difference? I wouldn't mind driving with one of the slaves but I'd need to set up auto switching of graphics settings. I searched but couldn't find a thread i remember that had a bunch of utility macros and scripts like that.

I've given up and just drive with a slave now. Its not just mounted, alot of different classes have different run speed talents and that screws up follow in dungeons too.

On my Paladin with 4x Death Knight team...

The Death Knights are marginally slower when mounted.
And the Paladin is marginally slower when not mounted.

So Cuddles generally leads while mounted.
And Kisses when not mounted.

I am generally in favor of it, because I prefer to use whichever mount I think is good looking rather than the "epic" versions of things that are wearing too much armor. However, not having any way to fly slowly (the walk toggle doesn't seem to work for flying mounts?) meant that when I was farming dark soil last week I had to plow my flying mount along the ground in order to go slow enough to see dark soils render before I had passed them.

For run speed, I'd recommend that you always do the cheap vanilla run speed foot enchant on alts while levelling to try and keep your follow more constant (it doesn't, or at least didn't, stack with talents) so it should bring your team closer to even. I think it uses just an aquamarine and an essence of some kind.

The Pally/tank/master will travel, in 5 seconds, the same distance as the slaves will travel in 7 seconds.

So that means I autorun for 5 seconds and stand still for 2, and they always catch up (unless I forget to stop because my attention span < 5 seconds, someti

Thanks for the link. I plugged those in but am getting a couple seconds of bad lag while things render on switching so I may have to go without.

I don't actually stop for very long, just like a half second or a second so my slowbies can coast up but never actually stop moving so they don't have to releash for follow.

I didn't buy master flying with my pally so he only moves about 3-6% faster than my shammies when flying. Works out pretty well, I pause for a second about once a min or so.
