Looking for MoP Mage 2-step macros - any spec - pve

If anyone is boxing a mage in pve, please post your macros.
Particularly if they are 2-step.

No 2 step - as I have drop that in cata - as it get stuck for me in ISboxer.

Insteed I use SuperDuperMacro addon with wowlazymacros (all in one)

I haven't been on my mage in a while but my setup should still work with good dps. I use the default Blizzard macros, Bartender4 addon, and /click castsequences. I can't remember the exact layout off hand, but next time I log in, I'll post here what it is.

If I'm not mistaken, the Arcane Missile procs are woven into the sequence so you don't have to worry about watching for them and they fire off about 95% of the time they are up, it's really dependent on lag and how often you press the keys I guess.

Finally got to log into the game tonight. My Arcane mage's set up is as follows:

Mobs:
Just spam Arcane Explosion, or make a /castsequence macro like so:

/castsequence reset=5/combat Arcane Explosion,Arcane Explosion,Arcane Explosion,Arcane Explosion,Arcane Explosion,Arcane Explosion,Arcane Barrage

Arcane Barrage can be adjusted, but since AE only has a 30% chance go build a charge, this'll insure you should have at least 3 by the time AB fires off.

Single target/boss:

/stopmacro [channeling]
/castsequence reset=5 Arcane Blast,Arcane Blast,Arcane Blast,Arcane Blast,Arcane Barrage
/click BT4Button6

My BT4Button6 is:

/stopmacro [channeling]
/cast Arcane Missiles
/stopmacro [nocombat]
/use Brilliant Mana Gem
/cast Arcane Power
/use 13
/use 14
/cast Presence of Mind

Talents are personal choices I think, but what I use is not always the typical ones that other sites tell you. I use:
Presence of Mind
Ice Barrier
Ice Ward
Cauterize
Living Bomb

I haven't hit 90 yet, so I'm still not sure which I'll chose there.

I apply Living Bomb manually with the following macro


/castsequence reset=target Living Bomb,Fire Blast

I put this on it's own macro because it kept locking up on me with it mixed in with the /castsequences.

You don't have to use LB, but I do because I farm a lot of older content and like the added dps from it. Mostly for farming tho.
