I leveled up my JC. Spent a lot of gold buying old world ores. Only to find out at maxed level, JC is not making any money for me. None of the cuts are selling well considering I paid 300g for a stack of Thorium Ore (50g per cut is not profit, and it takes 3-4 days to sell) leveling up. I want to make the JC mounts. but it requires 20,000 (being a goblin help at all here ?) purchased mats. So the mount is sold at something like 25000. Have you guys made those JC mounts yet ? Are they selling at all ?

I bought a mount and then immediately regretted it. Too much spell effects for running 10 clients on one machine.

I once spent* 200K on Vial of the Sands.
At the time, each of my wow accounts was on its battle.net.
Spent includes, used mats I had made which if sold at the prices things were going for would have added up to 40K per mount when combined with the vendor sold portion.

The mats for them are duped. So even if you make them your profit margin is going to be low in comparison to others and they take a long time to sell.

well i thought everybody has accumulated so much gold through out the years and they are eager to burn it on something! Apparently, it is not that simple i guess. I don't know, I thought the panthers look pretty cool. Off to make more inscription alts i guess.

I haven't had any luck with inscription. The cards are being listed in the AH for very large amounts of gold but they are not selling.

i do have the onyx panther mount. i did not buy mine though. i gathered all the mats myself and just bought the orbs. little bit cheaper that way. same with the sandstone drake. although, i could not do the same with the expedition yak.

Just do an ore shuffle. Easiest way to make money from JC in every expansion (assuming you have an enchanter to break stuff down into dusts).

No I would NEVER spend 27999g on a mount.
NEVER
NEVER HAPPEN.
Maybe once....
It was red >.>

really ? ORE -> GEM -> RING -> DUST ????
math tells me I get more if I sell ORE. Or ORE -> BAR -> Living Steel I makes profit here also. But selling dust is a loss. Shuffle ores might work for previous expansions, not this one.

Turning the dust into enchants for the AH as well as just selling the mats is generally the next step to the shuffle. Alternately cutting the green gems and vendoring those that turn out green while selling those that proc perfect might be the way you want to go. I'd suggest digging up some spreadsheets and figuring out what will work for you is probably the best bet. Simply planning to buy and cut gems to resell is a risky proposition because of posting costs. It sounds like thats what you were initially trying to do?

Strangely, when I was faced with the prospect of buying 5-10 copies of every mount, I resisted the temptation. Now that their BOA...lets just say I went a little crazy when I came back, LOL.
