There's a secret to the jumpatron quest: Jump, get the buff, DO NOT CLICK IT OFF, get on Epic Land Mount, put on Carrot(or have riding speed enchant/spurs), go up the hill BEHIND the goblin, jump off aiming straight at the nest, and you should land EXACTLY on the nest with the slowfall buff.

Imo just doing the jump is easier. You got to have good aim to do the mount thing :P

You have to have the egg I think to turn in the quest...I remember bitching that I had to land up there even though we killed the damn bird anyways lol

So it's something just one toon has to do. I managed to pop my main up there first try and break the egg. And it bugged after I jumped down. But I spent a few more tries and got him up again and that was all that was needed to give the others credit and summon the bird.

I did it this week, 2/2 jumps and only 1 character needed to jump up and attempt to get the egg. Then jump down and kill the big bird.

This jump is actually really easy. As soon as you use the key the buff appears click it off. It is so amazingly simple you will cry when you see. I've been riding bye and see someone having a hard time they do it right away after you tell them.

Key, buff appears, click. The only way you can mess it up is not facing the nest.

No fancy epic mount riding up mountains and all that.

Pervert! ;) I wouldn't waste my time stripping for that shit when there's a perfectly viable, easy mount-based solution. Plus, doing so on a pvp server = your ass is grass to any passer-by and the jumpatron's a fairly hot pvp spot most of the time for the pussy gankers who want an easy, near-death target. Plus I don't have room in my inventory for my gear on half my chars, carrying around a full set already to switch out for healing/armor purposes lol

Mount up, slap on yer carrot, jump and voila, vs strip naked, risk your ass, and waste time reequipping your gear. I'll take the mount thx ;p
