Hi,

I am wanting to multibox wow, however i want to run it on 2 screens, not interested in controlling both simultaneously at this stage, but to be able to switch between the 2.

is there a way i can do this, I am sick of having to tab out to the other window

Same PC, 2 instances of wow running, 2 screens

Cheers , :)

Run them in windowed mode and just move your mouse over.

Yeah on the login screen click on the "System" button and make sure your graphics are in "Windowed" mode. Then just move the screens anywhere you want.

As is said, you can simply run them in windowed mode and resize them appropriately and mouse around. If you have two monitors, simply drag one window to the second monitor and call it a day.

if your interested in a bit more sophisticated solution thats still free; theres always WinEQ; its not really necessary for WoW, but does allow for setting a hotkey for each instance, and has a free version. http://www.lavishsoft.com/#WinEQ2 Probably not worth bothering with that, though, especially if you have sufficient screen real-estate to see both windows at once. If your wanting to say, quest on one character while the other crafts or does auction house things, then the hotkeys for switching to the other window might come in handy. http://www.lavishsoft.com/wiki/index.php/WinEQ2:World_of_Warcraft

It kind of depends on your use case.

I assume for maximum performance from DirectX you might want them both full screen mode. That might be what the OP actually was asking.
