RAF Help Please!

Hi all,

So I have my accounts linked as so:

A > B > C > D > E

I was leveling 5 druids and got to 30, and read that boosting was much quicker. So I have started boosting on A with my 85 DK and have noticed E has stopped getting RAF xp altogether, which now means account E is lagging behind by 3 levels.

Why is this, and how do I get around this issue? I'm assuming the issue is because account E is linked with account A somehow, and as he's 85 he doesn't apply for the RAF bonus.

So how do you guys get around this when boosting? and how do I check that Blizz has linked my accounts properly, as they have assured me on 3 separate occasions that they have?

Which account did you send the RAF to E with?

My current setup is A boosting B>C>D>E. Basically I've sent my RAF from B to C from C to D and from D to E.

Check out Ualaa's post in this thread...it's a much better way to set it than mine.

You can call Billing, in Canada/USA the number is1-800-592-5499.

If you're just starting out, I'd go with:
A > B > C
A > D > E

Two RAF chains, with the booster on A.

The representative should be able to help you change the chain.
If they cannot, call back and you'll get a different rep; people have had their RAF chains changed in the past.

An issue may be account "B" is an old one I simply reactivated. Should I create a new account and merge B with the new one?

OK, just got off the phone to the 3rd Blizz representative.

Basically they completely messed up (his words!) and they need to downgrade and delete all 4 accounts, and I need to set this up again.

So basically I have my 1 main account again (Account A) and nothing else. And I'm going to do the following:

A > B > C

A > D > E

If I understand it correctly, this will allow me to boost the characters. Thanks for your help guys.

you know this happened to me too. i notice my accounts were linked all weird even though i sent the link emails to from and to the appropriate accounts. I didnt bother calling though so just been dealing with it.

Yes, the two chains is ideal for boosting.

For each link in the chain, you need to level/boost two characters for the cascade granting levels to add up to full characters.
A > B... level two toons on B, and B can give a full toon to A.
A > B > C... level four toons, and the levels C gives to B, B can use to grant a full toon to A.



I recommend this one:
A > B > C
A > D > E

C/E just get what you boosted.
But you get additional toons on A/B/D.
And A actually ends up with as many toons as B/D, without needing to level any toons on A.
Or you can level (a x5 group) for the first set and then use A's toon to boost later teams.
Also, if you're tempted to play on a server with other boxers, you could transfer one toon (the A character) with wealth/heirlooms/etc and boost on a brand new server.
