Keyclone says license expired, and I cant reach the solidice page. Anyone else having the issue?

I'm having the same problem. I paid the $20, stopped using it for a month or two, started again today, got the update, but now it's says LICENSE HAS EXPIRED and won't do a Re-Check. It says right when I did the upgrade, you pay once for a lifetime of use, and updates. But it's not working at all.


Working now. But lame that you can't use it if the service isn't working. Bad design.

Whoa, calm down, send a PM to Keyclone. He's been extremely helpful and personally sees to all problems with the program. Maybe its a database error or something.

This type of stuff is what leads to piracy, when something won't work that you paid for.

Whoa there tiger. Let Rob (Keyclone) reply first. As for your problem, the OP seemed to jump the gun on posting. Is yours working now as well?

Well I didnt jump the gun, the website and Authentication went down, but only for about 10 - 15 minutes. I was checking to make sure it wasnt just me.

Make sure you turn key clone off (and off the task bar) then restart it, it should auth just fine.

However, if you formated your computer since the last time you used Keyclone, you will need to get your old license turned off, and your new one activated. Your key is tied to your computer as is. So going to vista, or xp, or back will change your key.

if you change your system, there is a possibility the keyclone system-id will change. in that scenario, you just need to send me a PM, email, IM (yahoo, icq, aim, msn), irc, vent, or call (after 7pm EST) and i'll gladly transfer your license to your new system-id. i have done it numerous times for many people here on the forums (can anyone reading this attest to this fact?)

seriously... it's not like i'm hiding. i'm about as connected/wired-in as you can get.

what i normally need for the transfer is:
1. old system-id (usually starts with SIKC-... and is on your paypal receipt email)
failing #1...

1a. your email used with paypal

2. your new keyclone system-id. (says it right about 'LICENSE EXPIRED')

Oh yeah keyclone is damn quick on the new keys. I formated 2 pcs bout 3 months ago and he was on it in under an hour

no worries ScytheNoire, i'm the same way.

this is a community forum, not some kool-aid sipping, booble head gathering... there will be problems that pop up... and we deal with them like adults as we go.

keyclone is also changing... new releases come out about once a month now (was once every couple of days during the fall).. new features and bug fixes... for now, keyclone looks to be at a pretty stable point, but i do have a list that gets worked on. (i'm not sure i have any new features as nice as PiP any time soon... but we'll see)

Keyclone's service is fantastic. I reset my computer to factory settings and Rob had me up and running in no time. :thumbsup:

A booble head is like a bobble head except instead of the head being what bounces....I'm sure you can figure out the rest. ;) That'd actually be pretty funny to see...lol
