Let's say, theoretically, you were to get dragged back into this god-forsaken, dumbed-down, talent-trees-were-too-hard-on-my-brain expansion and wanted to make a decent 10 man group for raiding. Disregarding the difficulties of multiboxing X amount of classes at once, what would be your spec combos for powering through 10 man content? Is all melee DPS feasible or would it be impossible for some of the new content?

Good tool for planning it out:

Eh n/m. 10 mans don't look fun for multiboxing at all.

I took a break from it for a while and just got back, what I think you want is this ... minimally two good 5man groups where the tank and possibly the healer from the sidebar group can dual spec. There shouldn't be the need for a lot of buff mixing, if you go for a max buffs group you likely are going to loose out on a lot of dps with idle issues. You also want to swap out specific characters entirely at times, but that shouldn't be something you do often.

In this comp layout I have what i normally run with and what the offspec is in the opposite group (shaman are dead to me right now)

The group I like best is this I think, it has good feel to it dps wise and the tanking is pretty natural to me. Both tanks function pretty sick with aoe templates and cooldowns. The dps is just multi step ezmode no procs watching. The healing is just vuhdo isboxer gfx work.

However I am just doing pve.

I really don't understand your issue with talents, in the end at 90 you have the same 'talents' you would have spec before. In some places you have even more like blood having anti-magic zone ... which is awesome.

I was given this suggestion:

PvP - 1Disc Priest, 2Resto Druids, 7 Frost DK's.

PvE -
Tanks
Guardian Druid
Plate tank (doesn't matter which)

Heals
Holy Paladin
Disc Priest
Resto Druid

DPS
Warlock
Mage
Hunter
Shaman
Druid

This gives you the best spread of armor types, weapons and tier tokens, so you're not wasting drops. All of your DPS is ranged. One of your tanks can respec to range DPS or heals for single tank fights. You have all the debuffs and buffs.

I don't see the point of 10boxing PvP, but this thread makes me want to buy 5 more accounts and give 10boxing raids a try.

I think even if some single boss that you can get to easy enough, would be enough for me to 10 box. Just so if i don't need the drop I can DE it for the blood thingy needed for the higher level crafting recipies. Any trash drops would be a bonus 8) SO hopefully one of the upcoming instances will have a boxable first boss or more at some point.

OT. I like simple and sweet. My 1st 10 to 90 will be paly tank..druid tank, resto sham, priest heals, 3 eles and 3 mages.

I would be down to try and get a solid PVE group for 25 mans. If HVAC is still down for running 10 mans I will probably run what I have, and I have nothing at 90... : )

If anyone else would be interested in running 25 mans let me know. As much as I like PvP, I dont enjoy grinding, and would rather have a full auto SMG running around in circles and playing BF3 for my pvp.

I beat Warfighter in 5 hours, RE6 in 10 hours in the same day. What a waste of $120.

I am burned out on GW2 as well. It was fun at first, but running back to combat takes about 4 minutes, and you usually die in about 2....def not worth it.

Both games have no replay value at all ? Damn I was thinking about getting them now that wow pvp is not working too well. I will just wait for COD I guess.

I got started back a few months ago and have this composition currently http://raidcomp.mmo-champion.com/?c=u6o99h4m001harr0g00000000000000000000000.

It is somewhat complicated and takes some getting used too but works pretty well if you tweak the macros. I think any 10 boxing setup is going to take lots of tweaking and patience to get setup correctly. I am a little irritated with my Shaman atm because they now bring little to nothing to the table anymore, imo. Then again, I haven't been back that long so maybe I'm missing something.
