RaF exp change?

I'm currently leveling up my third group with RaF and noticed that there appears to be a certain distance where you will no longer recieve RaF exp. Either I haven't been paying attention or this just started in the last few days.

I'm boosting with account A and B,C,D,E are all linked. The first two groups I leveled I could park my slaves at the entrance of BRS and clear upper to the first boss getting exp. Lower I would park at the top of the ramp after the two bridges and get exp for the rest of the clear. Last night I noticed I was only getting regular and group bonus when I moved to far away from the slaves. This morning I did a test and if I leave my slaves at the entrance I won't get RaF for the farthest group in the first area if I kill them where they stand.

This group seemed to be taking much longer to level than the first two but I thought it was just my imagination, now I'm wondering how much exp I lost parking them in my BRD runs.

Has anyone else noticed this?

At points in the past, when you're gone beyond a certain range, the combat log reports experience but not RAF experience.
In the past at least, if you're getting experience at all you're also getting RAF experience whether it is reported or not.
Not saying that is absolutely the case now, but it has been before.

Easy method to check...
If your link is "A > B > C > D > E", take the "D" character out of the group and see what experience "E" gets without RAF.
Put "D" back in the group and see what experience "E" gets.

I just tested it with your method and you are correct....I'm still getting RaF it's just not being reported in the combat log.

Good news is I don't have to start running instances on auto follow....Bad news is I'm not leveling slower, it just feels slower.

In your WoW settings turn on Floating Combat Text on your alts.

Then every few pulls you just have to glance over at your other screens and can quickly see if they are still getting experience. Big purple text pops up every kill.
