Since MoP launched, all my companion pets dissapeared. I've lost WotLK and MoP CE pets, the 4th anniversary onwards pets, various rare pets like phoenix hatchling, panderan monk, leaping hatchling etc and the only response I get from a GM was 'delete your WTF, Cache and Interface folders'!!!

I was really looking forward to WoW Pokemon but this has really pissed me off!!

Has this happened to anyone else or know if it's happened to anyone?

I have not heard about any problems with this. Unless your pets came from a character transfer from another battle.net account, I see no reason why they would take them from you purposely.

I am guessing you just need to wait to hear back from a GM about it.

There is a option that might help. Go change your password on battle.net for the affected account(s). Apparently there are cases where your account and the b.net database can get..."out of sync" for lack of a better description. Changing your password forces things to sync again and may resolve this. I'll admit I heard of this originally when I was unable to get one of my Diablo3 accounts to realize it was past the end of the probationary/trial period and open up full access to trade/bank/etc. Doing this resolved it. I have no idea if it'll work for you but it's worth a shot. ;)

Good luck!

GMs used to reply to just about every problem with a "Delete your WTF, Cache, and Interface folders".

They have slowed down with that recommendation lately it seems. Of the dozens of times they told me to do that, it has NEVER worked.

It's not from an account transfer, but I did have full accounts moved between battle.net accounts...
