Here are my three mages and 70 war in SM. Note to self: LvL 23 Mages die REAL fast in SM. With a healthy number of deaths and a one wipe (Maybe I can't pull it all at once. damn...) I've knocked out 22-27 in around 2 hours boosting with my warrior.

Lol - that place [SM] is like a second home to me!

What I do now is and much more satisfying than a 3 pull of SM. Take my pally all the way to the the boss without pulling aggro (so I can open the cath door) and pull the boss ALL the way back to the entrance where my newbies are. Kill them all then take like 5 minutes to loot. At level 42 it's about 1/2 a level per hour (with 4 42's and 1x 70). I miss at least a dozen people but it's so much more quicker and fun. Plus the lower level guys int he courtyard give less exp at 40+.

Too bad I can't do more than 5 an hour with the instance limit - but it's easy to do during the day if you take 10 seconds to track your start times.

I finished my SM runs yesterday thank god.

I had a 6 hour, and a 11 hour session in there. after that i was from 29 to 40, honestly i never want to see the place again :s

(however i assume i will, since i still want 5 mages aswell :s)

I looked at your armory and is there a reason you are wearing some tank gear instead of all dps gear? How bad are the repair bills from doing this?

Fisrt, I'd like to point out that my arena teams are "10 losses for points" kinda deal consisting of only my accounts so don't mind the ratings =)

I've got the tank pieces on because either 1) the DPS pieces I have for those slots are leather, 2) a looot of pvp without repairing plus one death in SM broke 2 pieces, or 3) I forgot my PvP stuff in the Bank. The extra armor and stam really does help when half the cathedral is beating on you. The warrior is too high to use the summoning stone so heading out to repair or go back to the bank is a real pain.

My strat for SM is to park the mages and pull as much with the warrior as I can and still have the mages in range to get XP. Then I run back to them, hit my follow macro and pull them up to the next spot. Couple of my mages got killed quite a few times when I got sloppy about pulling them too close or missing a pat. I haven't repaired the mages since lvl 23 so they have some red bits lol.

I have been dual/triple-boxing for around 2 years and am making the push to full group. I am running on one comp, Core2Duo, NVidia 9600gt, 4gig ram. I'm currently playing on one monitor but after blowing my budget on new vid card and memory, a second lcd won't be coming for a while. I have a 5th account with a 70 priest that I will bring in later on to make a full group warrior/mage/mage/mage/priest. I play on Lothar US if anyone happens to drop by.

alliance wise...i lvl'd everyone to lvl 10 then hit vc to 18 then stockades to 26 (stockades i found 23-26 to be the fastest) then i went to sm which is possibly the best and worst instance. it is the best in the sense the xp and gear is very nice ...it si the worst for alliance as there is no where near by to vend/repair. went from 26-38. for 39-40 i went to stv and did the nessingwary chains PIECE OF CAKE :) 3shamans 2 fire mages. recently i hit 42 from doing miscellaneous quests in badlands/tanaris.

Anyone starting to hate lvl70's at this lvl im glad i got a vengeance mod when i hit 70 on these guys, im a be looking for them.

There is that one place to the East near the Plauge Lands to repair. I think it is the Argent Dawn Expedition or something to that effect. I dont know need if you need a certain amount of rep to repair there or not but I have gone there before and fiexed broken gear etc ... Oh and defently having a 70 pally is the way to grind SM. Easy leveling and made crazy cash DE all the blues I did not need.

After reading all the warriors=bad posts I pulled a pally alt off the shelf and got him up to 27. Mages hit 32 last night. I'm not sure whether to put the mages on hold to level the pally up to 32, or whether to run them together and count on the pally catching up around 42ish (hopefully) with the mages receiving decreased xp from SM way before the pally.

*edit* Returned the 9600gt that was giving me major problems and picked up at 8800gt. I set my 4 alts to 30fps and am still getting 90-110 ish on my warrior. Good stuff.

*edit* Lvls 35/35/35/30 - Mar 22

*edit* Didn't get to play much this weekend. lvl36 and change, 22 hours 30 min. Finally went to UC and repaired, trained, etc. Was hoping to hit 40 in under a day played but it looks like I'll miss it by a couple hours - Mar 24

Mar 26 - 2.4 stole my attention yesterday, but the Mages are up to 38 and I got the pally up to 35, trying to close the gap. I am SO happy to be nearly done with SM. I didn't quite understand just how many runs it would take. In other news I finally made the engi goggles for my warrior and it made a noticeable difference, although I think most of what I'm seeing is the crit damage increase from Relentless Earthstorm Diamond. I'll try to put up a current screenshot when I get home from work.

I have been really busy lately so still not much leveling action. Currently sitting at 40. I've been thinking I might just go with the 4 70s I have currently and level the 50something mage on my druid's account, then transfer him off for a final group of War/Hunter/Mage/SPriest/Druid. Will be more challenging, but I feel like in the time it will take me to get my 4 new toons geared for heroics I could figure out how to do them with a sub-optimal mboxing group composition.
