Hey guys, I am building a new pc, my dream pc is finely coming! Hurray!

My Rig Specs

CPU : Intel Xeon E5 2630 (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=187_346_1298&products_id=19755) 6 Core at 2.8ghz stock or Intel Xeon E5 2650 (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=187_346_1298&products_id=20322) 8 Core at 2.8ghz stock x2
Motherboard : EVGA A2 Classified SR-2 Supports 2 cpus and 7 graphics cards
New Motherboard : EVGA Classified SR-X 270-SE-W888-KR
Ram : Corsair Dominator 3x12GB kits Dont need to much ram.
Graphics Card :EVGA GeForce GTX 680 4GB FTW x2
SSD : 120gig for OS 120gig for vmware
HDD : 2 TB for WoW and Steam and 1TB for music and of course my 6tb externals for random crap
PowerSupply : Antec 1050watts
Capture Card : AVerMedia Live Gamer HD Capture Card

I do plan to take photo's of the build and update this thread :)

I can not wait too set it all up with water cooling on the 2 cpus but gcards will still be on air. while summing it all up it will cost around 2800.

I am running a decent setup atm but I want more! I am not mainly doing this for WoW and Games but for 3d Animation and Rendering since I do Game Dev for a living.

Here is my setup atm i7 920 at 4.4ghz 16gig ram 2x 570ti's SOC with 1 ssd for OS

What Xeons? You might look at the ASUS Z9PE-D8, people have been very happy with it and a lot more features. The case requirements as well if your not fully populating it.

Yea I have decided to update to the 2011 sockets and SR X mobo now :) I was thinking the 1366 socket due to the Xeon World Record CPU that was unlocked but looking at the cost that them 1100 each for 5.0ghz is not worth it,

I now have changed my mobo and xeons and for the graphics card question my rendering software I use for work and home uses the GPU CUDA Cores I could use rendering cards for my pc but I would rather the 680's due to price and gaming. Hard Drives are 10,000 RPM

It makes sense using CUDA cores so that you can still game on the GPUs, I just wasn't sure if you were super super serious about 3D rendering. You'll also need to choose new RAM kits for the quad channel that Socket 2011 uses.

I didn't know they made 2TB HDDs that spin that fast. Either way, with as much money as you're sinking into this machine, surely you could afford a 256GB or 512GB SSD (does your gaming drive really need to be two terabytes?).

Like MiRai said, I would suggest a SSD to run the games on, even if you have to put them on your main SSD. A 10k RPM drive can do 150 IOPs, a SSD drive can do 5,000 - 50,000. And games like wow have to do a ton of random reads, which a HDD isn't good at, and SSDs are great at.

Yea I have to update the list abit, It is alot of money to sink into but its well worth it for what I need and do. May even get just another 120 SSD for WoW and keep steam on a HDD since my steam folder is well over 700gig. Good thing WoW got smaller in size, I intend too keep this pc for at least 4 years or more, My rendering can take up to 2 weeks too finish on the computers at work, We are trying to optimize our software for more CUDA use then CPU

I could place 2 60 gig ssd in raid for WoW and 1 ssd for OS but I find that hdd's are fast enuf for steam games
