So I play both Eve and WoW bu I'm having major problems when trying to multi box. My system is an i7 processor 16g tripple chan ram with 2 gtx 460 video cards. If I play wow with no multibx running I can run it in ultra settings at 1600/900 res and have a solid 60 fps and no issue atall. When I launch my team of 2 through inner space currently setup with one account per monitor no swapping with all graphic settings on low I get 10fps on both and it is not playable. I have tried having both monitors hooked into one video card and with one monitor per card with no difference. If I play EvE I can run 3 accounts and it is playable 5 is not. I have tried everything I can think of as to why it is so unplayable. I looked through the forums and from what I have seen my system should be able to handle multiple WoW or EvE accounts with no issues but I don't know why I cant please help me. I am fairly good with hardware issues but I suck with software any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can 10-box WoW on a Core-i7 920 with an EVGA GTX 580 3GB, 24 GB of system RAM and 2x SSD in RAID 0.

You should be able to at least 2 box with low settings no problem.

Have you read this (http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/47958-Bad-performance-with-ISBoxer) thread?

If you're using multiple video cards - especially if you're using one card per monitor, you need to set the "home" monitor for each instance in game. WoW does NOT like it if you start it on one monitor and then run it from another, you will get HUGE performance loss. So set the main to "Primary Monitor" or "Monitor 1" and the slave to "Secondary Monitor".

Try swapping to DX9.

Try disabling vSync.

Make sure you have disabled all out of date addons. Personally, I'd disable all addons period and enable them a few at a time to make sure they aren't the problem.

Delete your current setup and rerun the setup Wizard for ISBoxer.

Thank you for the useful advice I will try this when I get home currently at work. I did just find that thread right before reading your post. I will let you know how it goes. As for my Eve online issues I think to run more than 5 accounts I will need a video card with more than 1g RAM on it it seams
