MiRai, I'm kinda looking at you, since you where amongst the first to show us Terra.

If so, is it boxable? I kinda like the idea of the light body fighting styles from Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon.

See, I just got this notice via email today, that NCSoft was working on bringing it to the USA, and It does kind of peak my interest.

It looks to have a bit of that cell shading that Champions online did, uhm, with the toons having rather large assets. Not that I noticed of course.

It looks like it could be a fun game, but being Korean it's going to lack things that we're used to seeing in our American games and it might feel "grindy" (not that either of those is necessarily a bad thing, but anyone who hasn't played a game based out of Asia should know these things going in). However, I'm sure any other game besides World of Warcraft 5.0.4 probably feels "grindy".

It states on the site...

Is Blade & Soul going to be a grinding game like some other MMOs?

Executive Producer James Bae said it best: "I assure you, Blade & Soul will never run out of content to keep players engaged in the game. This game will not be a repetitive grindfest."...so, we'll see.

As for multiboxing it, I have no idea, but it looks like it has a very fast paced combat system where there is a lot of moving around and blocking of incoming attacks; and I'm not even sure there's a follow function in the game.

This person seems to have some nice videos which explain the game. Granted, they are older videos from CBT2, but I'm sure the concepts couldn't have changed very much (if, at all).

While I just happened to link that one, turn on annotations to see the next/previous videos as she has a handful on there.

Awesome, and thanks MiRai. Yeah, the speed of combat, may be prohibitive towards boxing, esp. with old fat fingers like I have LOL.

Just got my hands on the Korean version of this game and it's a lot of fun so far. I don't see this game being very multiboxing-friendly, if it's even really possible at all. I have no idea if there is a follow function, but there's a lot of movement in combat and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" flying involved (for non-combat).

First, I will say that this game has visually stunning scenery including environments, character models, and animations -- Nothing like I've ever played before. If you had a chance to play TERA and you thought that that game looked really good with max settings, I would say this game definitely tops TERA in the realm of eye candy.

So far, it also plays very similar to TERA as well (which is another reason why I say it's not very multiboxing friendly) and it uses a semi-lock on targeting system rather than just being a crazy AoE-fest (although there is still lots of AoE).

This is just my initial take on the game and I'll continue to play it casually over the next few weeks to see what else it entails. For those of you who know who Steparu is, he's actually written a pretty comprehensive review of the game so far which can be found here (http://steparu.com/reviews/mmo-rpg-reviews/892-blade-a-soul-online-review).
