Hello everyone,

It's been long since my last post around and I've stopped WOW a long time ago, passed onto SWTOR, stood there about 4 months and now've been hanging around D3.

I've pretty much tested every 4m group in Diablo, have 4 of each except barbarian which I have only 1.

I've been currently running with four Monks with the sole purpose of farming.
So I geared up my main and he's now able, (in a 4m scaled game) to SOLO kill any boss except Diablo. Of course, he can also do the same for packs of champions, although some affixes combos are done in several parts :).
The reason why I'm doing it is because the other 3 Monks are running with MF gear (really cheap gear, all between 250-260 MF and 150-180 GF raw - without any stacks) so they die pretty fast :p.

I can run ACT I without even the secondary toons dying, I can almost do it on ACT II, I die a bit more often in ACT III and needless to say that ACT IV is chaotic. Again, one always (or most of the time) survives for the kill but he's really a tank and dps isn't that great so it can get slow.

I have this feeling (it's not really a theory) that I wanted to share with you guys and also ask about what you think of it.
I really find that for example an item lvl 63 item from ACT I is not really as good as an item lvl 63 item from ACT III. I'm not talking about the drop rate which I'm perfectly aware but the item itself.
And where I really find it really obvious is when it comes to weapons.

I've looted several thousands of objects so far, from every ACT and I'm really tending to feel this more and more. The other "bizarre" thing is that my main toon, 23 MF and 9 GF in a typical ACT III gets indeed less rares/legendary but about the same gold... that is really odd. What's even odder is that like the TOP 10 objects I ever looted came from this toon. I know... randomness but... weird.

So that's it I wanted to open a post about farming, we can of course use it also for farming routes, etc.
Mine described here:

ACT I farming:
Quest 9, Part II - The cursed Hold
I teleport to Northern Highlands and check if the Watch Tower is there
If it is, I go to Festering Woods do both dungeons port back to town
I go finalise what's left for 5 stacks at the Crypts
Go to a Warden+Butcher run

ACT II farming:
Quest 8, Part III - Soulstone Chamber
I go to Terminus, get 5 stacks in any of the 3 dungeons
Go kill Zolton Kulle

ACT III farming:
Quest 7, Part II - The second heart
Collect 3 stacks anywhere (keep, ...)
Collect 2 stacks while going to the Sin Heart
Kill the Spider
Kill Azmodan

ACT IV farming:
If I'm in the mood for pain I just do the whole ACT :)

Cheers,
A.

you only do act 1 if watch tower is there? i just dinged 60 with my DH's so im going to try and see how they play out.
I think i would prefer getting good damage gear and just rely on my paragon levels for MF/GF, though i have heared other people say similar things to what your experiencing, ie the character with the most damage gets more rares and so on, i haven't played enough to notice either case

Well Watch Tower is there most of the time and it's really worth it due to lots of elite, bodies, stones, chests... I think I have it more than 90% of the time.

Paragon levels are slow to be honest... I just don't trust MF much lol that's why I initiated this post, to find out if someone else felt the same.
