For those of you boxing D3, how do you handle loot? Do you only switch to loot only when you kill a pack? Do you have a an FX Window zoomed to keep an eye around your slaves at all times for trash drops?
I have been farming on my 1 60 WD lately and decide to finish leveling my 3 WD slaves to join her. While farming I have come across the occasional rare and/or legendary from trash mobs. Are these just chalked up to acceptable losses?

I understand they will make it easier to see the drops eventually.

Ya I have read that. It will definitely make it easy, you can just do a Video FX of each slave's minimap.

I have two clients on the second monitor/PC that are big enough to see blue/yellow tags. When I see something worth looting drop, I just switch clients and loot it singly. Sadly, there's no keybind for "pick up everything in range." (HINT: Blizzard, MAKE IT SO!)

Ya... Maybe I should just make my slave windows as big as possible on my vertical monitor.

I have my main full screen on 24inch and 3 slaves on a 21inch screen split into 4 obv. with a gap.
I can look across all clients easily enough to check for drops.

It took a while for me, but the faster you come to terms with the notion that most loot is trash and not worth the time to ID and list you will enjoy the team even more. I stopped picking up all blues a long time ago and am on the verge of strictly legendary hunting.

I've made a fair bit of cash from essence lately. This last Monday (holiday) the tier 1 essence was going for 180-250 EACH.
