Anyone else running one right now? In beta MOP you could reduce the holy shock cooldown to zero but now it is only in half. But even with crappy gear (just respec'd my team from prot/ret) they are doing some decent damage. Between 12k and 13k DPS. I don't have spell weapons yet, working on getting those.

Mana cost goes up at 90 which makes them a little less viable.
They changed sanctified wrath on beta too.

They always nerf something or OP it. That is why I like to have many different classes. Hopefully the mana thing isn't a problem forever.

There is no way tmho that shokadins will be viable, they have said that in the past. So expect a nerf sooner or later. My point is: it's very risky to build a team around that. Obviously have fun while it lasts.

What a rip off!!!! I guess today's reboot was to nerf shockadins. Was critting for 60k now I crit at 19k. I want to say bad words right now. :(

yeah, it was very broken right after the patch. In the lower level brackets they are nearly able to oneshot clothies. I do like the idea of offensive healers. It's better to have to worry about a healer doing damage, than to worry about the healer being invincible but harmless.

Shockadins are a systemic anomaly inherent to the programming of WoW that if left unchecked might threaten the system itself.

Going to respec them ret for pvp and prot/ret/holy for dungeons.
