Hi, I've seen Blizzard's offer for WoW + Wotlk for 10$ so I had an idea about getting 5 Monks on my main accounts (instead of having to transfer), however I wish someone could confirm that will works.
I already have 4 account and I'm going to purchase 5 more to make my RaF plan works, so WOW1 WOW2 WOW3 WOW4 WOW5 will get a 80 monk at Mop.
Thanks for your feedbacks, and I wish that sheet will help people if my plan is right !

I thought you can only have 8 accounts per battlenet?

Then I might get my 4 RaF on another Battle.net, since I haven't planned to play them after MoP.
Moreover, it's quite easy to switch an account from one B.net to another. That's what I decided to do this morning because my 4 accounts were each on one battle net.

Easy to make a new bnet account, raf works the same.

So you gonna boost 4 sets on your new raf account to lvl 80. Yes it will work the way you set it up ... but man what a pain in the ass to get 5 monks.

Do you have an idea about how long it takes to level one team to lvl 80 with a mage for example ?
I've planned to play my 2 teams at the same time, by broadcasting the same keystrokes to my boosters which would be with their specific, group in the same dungeon but another instance, I don't know yet if it's going to work (because of roots and stuns for example)

If you are boosting you dont need to send any keystrokes at all to any of your toons, only the high level main is fighting. You may need to send follow commands but not much else.
The idea is to to level your teams as fast as possible, so dont spend any time setting up your boostees just park them and run around with your high level main killing everything fast.
I don't see anyway to do both teams at the same time though. How would you have your high level boosters doing the same thing at once?

I thought about having 2 boosters set up with sort of mirroring, so that they would run the same path in the dungeons. I'd have 10 chars on the same screen, with mouse and keyboard broadcasting only activated on my 2 boosters, whereas my 8 clones would stay at the entrance for example.
Even if they might not aggro as many packs at each run, it could still be faster... I'll see how viable this solution is !
EDIT : If only I could have an idea about how long it takes to level one team, as I'd have 4 to do, I may not plan such crazy things if it turns out that the time needed is rather low, what about you JohnGabriel ? I see you leveled a lot of teams did it take a lot of time ? Thanks

I have done this - 2 boosters, with 4 alts each, and each booster running in their own dungeon. Not easy but doable. Mage is for sure a very good choice here. They can blindly aoe without targeting and melting the mobs all the way before Northend.
The key is to align the 2nd booster to the first booster while navigating in 'same' dungeons.
My plan is actually 8 monk, without RAF. Will do it if RL hobby doesn't eat into the wow time.

It takes less than 24 hours of played time to level. I think I spent 24 hours on my first team, but once I got it down things sped up to about 15 hours played time per team. I think with a well geared main with good aoe and you really wanted to you could do it 10-12 hours played time.

Hmm that looks good, so I will run low lvl dungeons with 2 booster with 4 alts each, and once it becomes harder I'll do each team individually ! As my mages are quite well geared, it might get quite fast !

You will probably run into the instance lockout timer. So you could run one group, then hop on the other and run it and you might not run into the lockout that way by alternating.

I always observed the instance lockout to be account wide

Definitely account wide, tested in july this year so this is not an option.

Sure the lockout is account-wide, but we're talking about 10 accounts, so the lockouts of both teams won't interfere with each other ! Here is a good option ! Thanks
EDIT : I actually forgot one essential thing which is that I have a 10th account from a friend, otherwise I would have been stuck with my scheme !

Ok then that would work, except the booster account is also subject to the instance lockout. I've tried it before and had my boosted locked out.

I don't understand, as now I would have 2 teams of 5 accounts that would never interfere with each other. Each 5-accounts team will be on the same lock-out, or have I forgotten anything ?

Now another idea comes to my mind : I could have team 1 boosted by ACC2 so that there would be only 4 people in the dungeon, does anyone know how it would impact my xp/mob ? I heard that adding low-lvl characters have an impact on average lvl so that it becomes more interesting to boost 4 people instead of 2 for example, is this right ?

Why only 4? You have the two that were recruited, the two that did the recruiting, and a high level booster.
There is a formula for calculating how much exp you get, its in one of the forum posts if you feel like searching for it. Your toons do get less exp per kill because of the higher level toon in the group, and as your toons level up you get more exp instead of less from killing the same level mob.

Based on my experience, running 2 boosters is not as efficient as running single dungeon. So the lockout issue should not be too major. But maybe you are a better player than me, lol.
I think you get group bonus XP with 3 toons or more. Not sure of the detail tho.

Of course, planning to get lockout issue while dual-running would be too optimistic, that's rather for when I won't be able to dual-run or for really fast dungeons (Mona ?) that would be more efficient if single running, I'll see what the better choice while playing !
Why only 4? You have the two that were recruited, the two that did the recruiting, and a high level booster.
According to what I've réas about RaF, one of those who did the recruiting could be the booster toon and the recruit would still have 300% xp. That formula might be useful as I only found the one for a group of 2 people on wowhead ! I'll post it if I find it.
Now I'm thinking about optimizing my Battle.net stuff too, since there can only be 8 accounts on it, I plan to have my "RaF-only" accounts on another battle.net but first I could have one of them collect the whole +%xp equipment on my 1st battle.net before moving the account to my "RaF battle net" ! I hope it will work !

I find it so much more fun to just play a team via RDF..all monks can have tank..healer and 3 dps. so you can queue for randoms. I started a team of tank..healer and 3 hunters yesterday and they are 52 so far. All through RDF after lvl 15.Boosting might be a tad faster, but its more fun playing the toons like you would normally and the levels still fly!
