I bought the SteelSeries World of Warcraft Cataclysm MMO gaming mouse (http://steelseries.com/products/games/world-of-warcraft-cataclysm/world-of-warcraft-cataclysm-mmo-gaming-mouse), and the programmable buttons are not recognized in IsBoxer or being transmitted with InnerSpace.
I setup one of the extra buttons to be my IWT key. If I am playing solo it works fine. I also load up notepad and can see the character typing when I press it, so I know its working.
But in ISBoxer Suite I try using the new mapped key wizard and it doesn't even recognize the buttons, and turning broadcasting on in InnerSpace doesn't transmit the button either.

Is the software for the mouse being run as administrator?

As I understand it, you must pick the key manually in the picker list. Mine is working fine, so I'm guessing it's your setup. Either what Mirai said about the software or you didn't pick the keys as above. Without more data on how you have it configured, it's hard to tell exactly what's going on. ;)
Also, just in case it helps, here's what my mouse setup looks like:

Nothing special as far as I can tell.
[edit] BTW, I'm using this in Diablo3 -- no idea if it works in WoW at the moment. Sorry.

I found that I could get it working in WoW with IS, so that IS would recognise it (as Ugh's image shows) but a problem I still have is that when I click (one of the middle mouse buttons) in one WoW instance, the mouse software (not IS) would make the click happen on all the WoW instances. Not sure whether my configuration is wrong, I ended up living with it, but I'll get around to trying to sort it out one day...

It seems IS can recognize the buttons and works as Ugh demonstrated in his post above and I got that working. But it doesn't recognize text sent from the buttons, if I have macros stored in them for example.
So its workable, just have to do everything through IsBoxer or WoW instead of through the mouse software.

True statement. As far as I know, it's always been that way.
