I have a bear and a resto druid I'm using and I need to learn to heal while tanking. A friend is going to dual box 2 dps. I just got done doing a Stockades run and failed horribly at it that I just left, was so embarrassed at my healing attempt in there using videofx repeater, etc.
I'm one to want to play my class to the full potential even while leveling or I don't play at all, so I'm trying to figure all this out while tanking.
VideoFX or just use Macros/keybinds for the healer?

What's easiest for you? There are people who turn with the keyboard, and there are people who turn with the mouse. It's personal preference and they do what's easiest for them; but, with keyboard vs mouse turning... one is more limiting than the other -- The same goes for VideoFX vs keybind healing.
How many times have you been skilled at something the first time you tried it?

Mouse turning, strafing on A, D is what I'm used to. I don't think I've ever keyboard turned even back when I first started WoW lol. All my toons have their WSAD keys basically mapped to skills other than A, D for strafing when I'm not boxing.
Also, the VideoFX viewer seems to be super blurry to me for some reason despite having ultra settings in both windows.

The point of my post went right over your head. It was meant to be a comparison as to which method is more efficient than the other and that people should do what's easiest for them, not whether you turn with the mouse or not.

Thanks, I'll try stacking the windows and see how it looks then.
And mouse turning is easier for me. I'm not good at picking up on points...

That's fantastic. Now you need to figure out which method of healing is easiest for you (although I prefer VideoFX myself). ;)

You can macro a bear tank to a single button spam. That will make it easier to keep an eye on everyone and heal and/or tank as needed.

Yes. Macro the bear to have interact with target and its DPS threat attacks... then drive from your healer. Target a mob and hit your spam button... bear attack target. Ensure your spam button doesn't activate anything on your healer's. Use mouseover heals to be the coolest kid in school.

So I watched the video a long time ago and VideoFX vs click healing didn't seem any different. Am I missing something?

It is click healing from the tank to activate the heals off of the resto. So no different. It basically where are you driving from. Do you drive from the tank for positioning and view or do you drive from the healer and have the tank potentially not have great positioning.

Well I play a tank main spec in hard modes, so I always run from the tank's pov just because that's what I'm really good at. It's when I start healing from a slave toon that it gets really confusing for me at least......

VideoFX healing is click healing. I said the choices were between VideoFX (click healing) and healing via keybinds.

OK just making sure I wasn't missing out on something that is easier.

Ok is your bear spam on key 1?
You need some basic heal spam. Put the following macro on your healer for 1spam as well.
/focus TANKNAME
/castsequence [@focus] rejuvenation, nourish, swiftmend, rejuvenation
Every 15 seconds your healer will nourish, hot, and swiftmend the tank. She will be free the rest of the time to clique heal.
When you can, get the glyph of swiftmend and then cut the second rejuv out of the rotation.
The only thing I'd put on a clique heal at this level is regrowth (I like middle mouse button/wheel click for my regrowth/flash heal/healing surge) type spells.
Regrowth anyone that isn't the tank that takes more than 25% damage and other than that you should be fine here.
DO work on making your tanks health pool as high as you can at this point. Your first team you really want to have heirlooms or the nicest greens money can buy while you're learning.
