I reached my goal of 20 level 80s last night. Thanks for putting up with the enormous signature I've been using.

Still haven't granted any levels, no room, have 10 toons each on my main server. I'll have to put some thought into what I want to do now and start transferring them.

Congrats! 80 is the fun part doing 80-85 with Cata style questing is brutal. I really hope they make questing more group friendly in MoP.

There are certain levels that are so fun its always sad to move on.

Level 57-61 boosting in Ramps comes to mind. Its so fun yet seems to only last 20 seconds then its on to boring Mana Tombs.

When questing its the 77-80 in Icecrown that I love, that goes by very quickly too. Still faster to RaF boost in HoL but not fun as questing for those 3 levels.

I usually just quest instead of boost from 52-55 in Swamp of Sorrows. There lots of boxing friendly quests there and from 55-58 in the Blasted Lands. Seems like maybe an hour total for all those levels. I love questing in Borean Tundra too the whole first half of the zone is very boxer friendly (at least on the Ally side). Twilight Highlands ally side is the absolute worst collection after collection after collection.

So how long did it take you to get to 80? I am in Scholo atm and its very slow doing 35-48 I have RAF quite cool Just wondering what way did you Power level in the instances?

11-21 I did SFK
21-35 SM

If you do BRD at 52, with all the quests and a full clear, you'll leave at 54 or 55. Then you head up to BRS and do a full clear with all the quests and in a single run or with a partial second run, you're already at 58. It takes like 15 minutes tops for each run of BRS and 20 minutes for a full BRD clear.

I'm alliance, so YMMV.
11-17 DM
17-21 Stocks
21-34 SM (multiple runs of all four wings)
34-39 Scholo
40-45 Strat Living
45-50 Strat UD
50-54 BRD
54-58 LBRS and UBRS

I've got alts spread across the continent to HPWT the lowbies everywhere. I will run them from Living Strat to the UD strat entrance, which isn't too far away.

Congratz!

Quick question, I noticed in your sig. that all your Mages are fire. Since Cata, I've just leveled Arcane mages, as my initial experience with Fire rotations weren't as successful. Have you found otherwise? Maybe I need to go back and revisit this? I don't mind Arcane, it's really easy to macro and get decent dps, but I also like variety :)

P.S. Also noticed that you leveled a lot of hunters, they have to be the easiest class to get really good DPS, out of the main three (mage, shaman, hunter) the hunters I've leveled have always seemed to overachieve relative to their gear.

Actually for all the toons I boosted, they never fired a single shot, cast a single offensive spell, or even hit anyone with their weapon. Any talents I picked was just to give them something, hoping only to keep them alive a bit longer if any pats saw them.

For the mages, I just picked fire, it seemed to have the instant cast spells that when used x 5 they would one-shot more things.

About the only team I play for real is my pali/3 ele/1 restro shaman. The rest of the toons were just leveled up to level up, and I stopped once they were leveled.

Depending on when your RAF started, you MAY be able to apply the granted levels to some monks, I believe they were adding one character slot per realm with pandaria, and that granted levels would work on pandaren, once they choose a faction.

No my RaF link expires a week before release of MoP. I started about a week before the announcement so serves me right for being impatient.

You'd think I would learn from all the mistakes I make but nooooo I just keep plowing along. lol
