I was wondering hvoe do you all handle gear management and what metode do you use
to give the rigth loot to the toon that needs it

atm i use FFA and inspect each toon to find out
but there have to be a better way to do it ,

are there any addons i should use do do this and is there a better way to give gear other then using FFA and looting with the toon who gets the loot ?

I use FFA and zolotips

I do it with mouseover and PiP (http://www.dual-boxing.com/entries/38-What-Keeps-a-Khat-up-At-Night), but I use HotKeyNet, so no one cares, lol.

I act like a crazy man. All my toons are there own people and there performance dictates who gets the best gear.

I have my second G set of keys with 4 seperate IWT bindings for when I want one toon to talk to a person or loot or aggro

That is hilarious, I do the same thing... for toons who share the same gear... I look at the DPS meter, and give it to the best one and then if I was crazy I would then tell the one who didn't get it... to stop failing... but of course I'm not crazy so I don't do that.

I just do mine in order. DPS 1 has the best gear, if he can use something he gets it, then on to DPS 2, then DPS 3.

I do the same as JG above... my main/the one I drive most often generally gets the gear first in my five shammy group. In my five pally group I run tank/3 rets/holy so it is easier. Tank get anything with more stam/armor, holy gets all the +int gear... the rets are just there to keep the pugs out of the group so they can die in a fire. In my 5 x blood DK group again main toon gets first loot choice... but everyone has all the heirlooms except for trinkets... and level 70 PVP gear fills out the rest of the slots so most drops just end up /vendor!!!

Zolotips is awesome.

Am I the only one who gives the loot to the one with the LOWEST dps to help bring them up to scratch? I use zolotips to compare the ilevels and then the lowest dps/ilevel gets the new shiny.

I mean if they were different classes I guess you could make the argument that the mage converts gear into dps better so his higher dps warrants the newest weapon... but generally the person that is lowest is lowest because they need the gear more.

lol you should see me looking at meters after fights I see the average top dpser last. I will say outloud "clancy clancy clancy you have let me down I am giving the staff to larry, Here you go larry"

This is what I do as well. I think it helps the "team" out as a whole more this way.

I get all my teams set bonuses 1 by 1, everything else is bought at the same time with points or I go through alphabetically.

So for tier, I will get Atox 2 set, then btox, ctox vtox 2 set, then atox 4 set and so on. Those set bonuses are really nice

Maybe if the lowest DPS tried his hardest and did not die :P
