So has anyone thought about multi-boxing Guild Wars 2? I'm very interested in trying it because the main thing that turned me off about doing it in WoW was the 4-5x sub fee. I don't mind the one time arge price, but it pains my soul to watch 75$ leave my account every month for a subscription.
I haven't seen how people have been MBing in Diablo 3, but I'm curious to know, since it doesn't have a follow function. It's been a while since I've MBed, and when I did I was heavily reliant on /follow in WoW. I'm just wondering how MBing works in a game like Diablo 3 or Guild Wars 2, a game with now follow function.
On a side note, can we get a sub forum for GW2!?!!

I'm not sure if GW2 would even allow multiboxing, but if so, It would be interesting to try out. I vaguely remember doing it with GW1, but If I remember correctly, they kind of frowned on it at the time. Mind you, this was when it first came out.

Prepared has mentioned he's boxing the beta (or was), on both the IS Boxer and Pwnboxer forums.
At the time of his posts, there was no /Follow command in the game.

I've been following GW2 and multiboxing but I haven't found much about it. I may just have to resort to buying 2 copies of the game when it is released and tinkering around with it.

Playing it solo because it is more fun that way? Or is multiboxing not possible.

Good to hear. Do people still use KeyClone? I've been out of the multi-boxing game for a while, so I haven't even heard of either of those programs, lol.

I still use Keyclone, for just a fast set up game. Or to level up to say BC stuff. Then I'll switch over to ISboxer. Uhm, I'll also use ISboxer for BG's ,simply for the focus stuff.

I find solo play relaxing sometimes, but yeah its fun solo. I haven't tried multiboxing.

There's no follow command and in-game combat is heavily reliant on movement. You can't "tank" stuff in this game (there are, in fact, no tanks or healers), you avoid damage through active skills and smart positioning. Also, there's no target lock, all skills and melee swings must be aimed. So, I'd be very surprised if anyone managed to box GW2 with any amount of success.
On the plus side, it's an amazingly fun game. Only MMO I've played in the past decade that I'm interested in playing even though I can't multibox. Even the PvE, which I usually can't stand, is really entertaining, since you can literally be one shot at any time by challenging mobs unless you're using your stamina well dodging, CCing, using cooldowns, etc. Combined with the fact that you're aiming spells, this game has one of the highest skill curbs of any MMO I've played.
Plus, there's no subscription. No reason not to pick it up, IMO.
