Looking for a Horde Herald of the Titans group. Willing to help farm gear since I'll also be needing to farm gear.

Would prefer to stay horde but faction changing isn't completely out of the question. PM me and I'll share my real ID for dungeon running / planning.

Essentially you need 10 level 80 characters in gear lower than i226 (Weapons can be i232) and go kill Algalon (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=32871) in Ulduar. You no longer need the key to open his door, and there is no longer a time limit on killing him.

Yeah I read through that. This is definitely going to be my farming strategy:


Gearing
Save yourself the trouble and do ICC 5 mans for i232 weapons (heroic) and i219 armor. The rest of the slots can be purchased with JP (including two pieces of i226 tier). You *could* run Ulduar 10 man hard/25 man normal over and over but you'll gear much faster through JP/ICCs. ToC 5 man normal still drops the BiS trinket for tanks (The Black Heart) and is worth farming. We weren't in the absolute best gear but the majority of it was i226 and we still rocked Algalon hard. The cata buffs were probably the biggest factor and essentially make up for any less-than-stellar gear that you have on.

Nope, just Horde, and US Servers.

I'm going to chime in here that OpenRaid.us does Titan runs (and some people take titan gearing characters on regular ulduar runs). I definitely plan to follow that gearing advice now whenever I do it, I was NOT looking forward to farming Ulduar again!

Yeah I'm familiar with open raid, but given the chance I'd rather run with people from here.

I hit 80, started farming gear.
